Chapter 46

-Kanes POV-

I get into my car and start to scream. happy scream.  I grab my phone and call my girl.

" Hello? " she speaks with tears.

" Juliette? whats wrong? " i speak. my heart dropping. somethings wrong i can feel it.

" Hurry home, please. Someone broke in, Juliette got hurt." Her mom said.  i hang up. Anger taking over. Someone hurt my girl... 

I finally make it home, cops are here. Jeffery is too.  I hop out of the car, not even worrying about turning it off. i spot Juliette and run to her. cops hold me back, asking who i am.

" I'M KANE BROWN, I live here. " i scream at the men. they nod an let me go. 

" baby, are you okay?" i ask Juliette. she nods.
" wheres Julia?? did they hurt her?" i ask, making my blood boil more. she shakes her head no.

" she was with mom, thank god." she sighs.

" ill be back. " i say an kiss her forehead. she nods.

i walk over to Jeffery, anger taking over me. i slam him against his car. 

"Kane!!" he says. fear in his eyes.

" You.. there was supposed to be people here protecting them." i scream at him. not letting go of him.

" there was Kane. she had a body guard with her, she must of sent him off, she must of needed alone time." he speaks. i let go of him. knowing Juliette, that's probably true. 

cops leave. Jeffery did also, after having more men come. I'm never leaving my girls again, NEVER.

Juliette's face is bruised. Her lip is busted. My sweet baby.  I knew i had a bad feeling. 

she sees me looking an smiles slightly. i walk to her. grabbing her and pulling her into a hug. 

" baby, I'm so sorry." i speak.

" its not your fault, Kane." she speaks into my chest. but it is my fault. i feel like nicole was up to this.  i have a feeling she set this up. 

" well, how'd did it go? " Juliette asks me, hope in her voice.

" well, she had a baby boy. Blonde hair blue eyes. he was beautiful. " i speak the truth.

" hes yours?" she seems down.

" He is.. not " i smile. she looks up at me and smiles.

" really?" she asks. i nod.

" you wouldn't believe it actually, the baby's father is Alex. Your ex Alex.." i say. 

"wait what? " she seems confused until it hit her. she laughs.

" Shes the Nicole. " she laughs.

" yeah she was i guess." i laugh with her. her laugh makes my heart smile. shes so beautiful.

Juliette's mom has Julia with her today, in the same house. she told Juliette to get some rest. i swear shes the best. I should tell her that everything that went down today was my fault. Nicole's crazy self is mad, shes going to do everything she can to make Juliette leave or worse...

I need to tell her... but i don't know how or when too...
