Thank You

Some things we have to do are hard. I will never in your life blame you for that. I don't see your challenges as weaknesses, but rather as stumbling blocks. Stumbling blocks that don't knock you off your feet. When you have to do something that's harder for you than you think it is, I see your strength show through. Whether it's as small as talking to your parents, or as large as keeping someone alive, I always see your strength.

Backed by that strength is your knowledge that it's just worth it. It's worth it to ask your mother if I'm clear to come by. It's worth it to step up to the plate when no one else will. It's worth it, because whether you came out with a positive result, you still came out stronger. You're much stronger than you know, Autumn. Your mind and heart are strong-willed and stable, and I love the knowledge that they're something that will be supporting and protecting me for a long time. Even when it loses it's stability and you just break down, I see your strength return in only a short time.

Everything you do for me is amazing, and you do more than you know. You support me. You keep me happy. You help me to smile when all that wants to linger is frowns. My Autumn, you do so much for me, and you're always as strong as can be. Don't think you're weak because of your hesitance to attempt some things. That isn't the case, my dear. You are not weak, you are strong. You ARE strong. Incredibly strong, WICKEDLY strong. I someday hope to aspire to that level of strength.

Thank you, my dear, for every time you've helped me. Thank you for every time you've carried weight I was too weak to carry. Thank you for giving me love even in the times I least deserved it. Thank you so much my Autumn. Thank you for everything you do, every single day. Thank you so much for loving me. Thank you so much for keeping me happy.

"You're much stronger than what you think, and much more important than what you know. Thank you for it all, darling."
