Jake p.o.v.

We took a while to make it back to land and Dave minded his own business.

"Why did my brother want you to come to the island anyway?"

I noticed the sand rising just like Dirk said and swam faster until I made it to the shore,

"Woah hey wait we can-..."

With my elbows I i dragged my body until it was all on shore the lower half of my body began hurting then went away. I stood up wobbly, my cloths, hair, and body soaked to the bone.

"I-I h-hold on... Your human?"

"Yes I am..."

"Damn... no wonder I've never seen you before, but how did you even get here?"

"Thats...a long story..."

He moved next to me and kept his tail in the water,

"Make sure to tell me one day, I have a feeling ill see you soon, anyway Ill tell my brother you got to the island."

"Thank you Dave."

"No problem its cool actually talking to a human out in the open. Ill be going now, stay safe."

Before i could say thank you I no longer saw his red tail. He seemed pretty nice. I walked a few steps but my legs were sore so I sat down for a while then vegan my walk back home. I saw a limo parked out front, who could that be? I didn't have my keys so K decided to go threw the secret passage. Finally glad to be back I opened the door and saw John in his tux and his hair styled back holding a tray with tea's.

"J-Jake?"

He dropped the tray of tea and ran over to me embracing me in a big hug. I hugged him back tightly.

"Your back, We've been so worried about you!!"

"Worried? I've only been gone for a couple of hours?"

"John is everything alright? I- Jake!"
Jane came rushing over and hugged me tightly. I was confused but hugged back.

"I was only gone for the night what's wrong?"

They looked at each other with a confused look. Was it something I said?

"Jake...you've been missing for 7 years..."

Jane smacked Johns head lightly and looked at me, John giggling a bit.

"You've actually been missing for 7 days Jake."

"I-I what?"

That only felt like a few hours...It must have been when the merman took me, the one with the deep voice and the once that was scared of him...

"Jake."
I heard a stern voice call out. I looked up and saw Him. My oh so beloved Father. (Note my sarcasm).
