We had to do something to stop the Empress from messing with Jades mind but then John was the one who went over to Jade and put his hand over her neck so rather than touching her neck it was cutting his hand. She was still slowly cutting but John remained calm and spoke to her softly, the room stayed silent until Jade's body began to shake and she began to cry until she fainted and fell into Johns arms. John looked over to me and smiled.

The Empress yelled and began cussing at how useless everyone was. The judge called the guards to take her back into the ocean to her new prison cell where they would later move her to her punishment.

As they were taking her away I saw the Judge walk over to all of us, she bowed her head and thanked us for finally giving her the information they needed to arrest her.

"Oh Judge!" I called out before she left,

"Yes?" She turned around I went over to the closet where 'Father' was and opened it.

"You should take him as well."

She called over some guards who untied him and put hand cuffs on him and escorted him out of the building.

"Karkat you made it!" John went over to hug him but instead he went over to Jade and helped her sit up. 

Dirk moved my head to the side and was looking at the wound on my neck,

"It's nothing too serious Dirk, Ill have it patched up and it should be better soon." 

Kanaya came over with the small med kit and wrapped both of our wounds from the knife and we took the girls to their rooms to rest. 

"They should be fine, they are just exhausted after what happened."

One of the nurses said that came over from the merkingdom. 

"Thank you." Dirk replied, we decided to go out to the balcony to get a breather after everything that occurred. He sat down on the ground and I sat next to him. He leaned his head on my shoulder and we stayed sitting in silence. 

"Jake." He moved up and looked at me.

"Yes?" He surprised me when he kissed over my bandaged wound but stayed with his head down. I wrapped my arm around him holding him lightly.

"Its over, after all that time." 

I smiled and patted his head and continued to confort him. It didn't feel like a long time but that may be because I had barely met Dirk and them not to long ago. 

"How long have you guys been trying to capture her?"

"Years. We never had enough evidence to sentence her to the deep but now we are finally able to and all thanks to you guys." Dirk pulled me face down and kissed me. I wrapped my arms around him and we continued to kiss until there was a soft knock on the window. 

Dirk let go first and stood up, helping me as well. We turned to see who had knocked and it was Kanaya. 

"Sorry for interrupting but the other kings have called for us to return to the castle at once." 

"They did? Where were they this whole time?" Dirk said annoyed but still complied and we went down to the entrance where we saw everyone else waiting for us. 

"About time you got here sheesh." Karkat grounded but got hit over the head by Jade.

"Jade! You should be resting!" I ran over to her but she just smiled. 

"I know I know but I had to see you off, I promise I'll head back to bed once you go." 

"Once I go?" I asked confused. 

"The two Kings asked for you and John to come as well." 

"They did?" 

Dirk and Dave asked at the same time. Kanaya just nodded her head and we were said goodbye to Jade who stayed behind along with Karkat who said he would take care of the mansion while we were away.
