I walked forward a bit when i noticed a body floating in the water. No...

I ran over to the body but noticed it wasnt Johns but one of the kidnappers. He had three holes inside of his chest while the other was on the other side of the cave beat up and dead.

"Who could have done this..." I went over to Dirk and told him to take a look.

"Its her doing..."

"Her?"
"The Empress. She must have took John."

We ended up returning to the castle when Roxy swam over to us and told us to go over to Rose's room.
"Guys theres something you need to hear!"

Once in her room we noticed that she was with...
"Kanaya! W-what are you doing here?"
She had a green tail with a red fin and smiled at me,
"Hello Jake, I never thought I'd reveal myself in this way but it would have happened eventually. Now back to buisness."

"Your father is helping our enemy and they demanded that we give up our kingdom for John."

"What." Dave said looking annoyed, I knew he was conflicted but so was I... I knew father was nothing but a man obsessed with power but how could he have known of all of this and betray us and John!

"I believe it is time for us to return to our home and settle all of this."

John p.o.v.

I knew that father was nothing but a lie but locking me up in my room without a way out and siding with those people!? Way too low for him.

To bad for him I already know a way out. This house is old but it also has some hidden rooms and doors. How else was I supposed to play pranks around the house? I went under my bed and hit the wall, squeezing through the hole I closed the door and walked through the walls. Making it to the living room. I peeked through an air vent and saw Father sitting down with her.

"How will we cover all of this up?! You know the Judge is after me and It's hard enough playing pretend family." Father said.

Pretend Family? What did he mean by that?

"Now Now. You were the one who chose to take this job. This family was the only one rich enough and this plan took years to do." She threw a folder on the table and picked up her trident.

"Lets head out they should be coming soon." She smiled and once they left I opened one of the doors and walked in. I double checked to make sure no one was there and grabbed the folder going back into the wall when someone grabbed my arm. I swung my fist in the direction,

"OW! Watch it Egbert!" Oh it was just Karkat!! I pulled him with me and into the wall and checked to see if anyone was there but we were safe.

"What are you doing here Karkat?" I asked in a whisper he just looked around the wall and ignored me.

"I was supposed to get you out the room and how did you even get out!?" I covered Karkats mouth with my hand when I heard someone walking by.

"The folder is gone!" I heard a guard say.

I looked at the folder, is this that important?

I told Karkat to follow me and we made it to the back of the house and left. Once we were far enough Karkat told me to follow him and when I did he lead me to the beach.

"What are we doing back here?"

"Listen if you haven't figured it out already let me make this as understandable as possible for even you to understand got it dumbass? I am a mermaid. I know you already met Dave so lets hurry and meet up with them. That folder you are holding is a key factor on taking that sea bitch down. So hurry up and eat this and lets get going."

He passed me the seaweed and I ate it going into the water.

"What about the folder?" He jumped into the water and I saw that he had a red tail with some grey scales on it. He blew a bubble under water and brought it to the surface placing the folder inside.

"There happy now? You hold onto it and lets get the fuck out of here before they find out we escaped." I nodded and dove into the water holding the bubble close to my body. I hope everyone else is okay...
