Jake p.o.v.
Wait,what!? I stumbled to get to my feet but instead the boy went back in the water. I made it to the shore but he was no where to be found. I went into the water but only where it touched my knees. I looked out in the ocean and shook my head. Probably a wave brought me to shore and i hit my head. Yes thats the reason.

"No its not."

I looked down and saw the man when he pulled my arm causing me to fall in the water. I heard laughter and looked up. The guy was laughing at me. Who is this person or thing?

"Jake!"

I heard a faint voice calling my name. I looked back at the island and saw John waving at me. I looked down but the guy was gone. Strange. I walked back and John gave me a weird look.

"Its...a long story, anyway we should head back."

He nodded his head and we went back home.

"Where have you two been!?"
Jane yelled at both of us.

"Umm..."
We both looked at each other and Jane crossed her arms.

"You two went to the island didn't you. And Jake why are your cloths wet?"

I looked at them and she was right.

"And Jake whats on your arm?"
"My what?"

I looked at me arm and saw this weird orange tattoo that wrapped around my arm. This wasn't here before?!

"I have no clue."

She just rubbed her head.

"Anyway, were having guest tonight, important ones, so make sure you hide that mark okay."

Great more possible suitors for marriage. I told my parents that i dont want to marry and I explained this to Jane but she just replies with,
"Your the oldest you have to."

John shook my arm and looked at me.
"We should probably go shower."

"Your right."
