John P.O.V

"Jade wake up! This isn't you!!" I tried to struggle as much as I could but it was no use, she just stared back at me with black eye sockets and bright green pupils. This isn't like Jade at all and that was what terrified me the most.

I knew Karkat was outside and he was waiting for my signal but if I call it out now the Empress will make Jade kill me.... I wanted to cry but I knew that this would be over soon and Jade and Jane will be back to normal so I had to stay focused. I looked over to Jake who was staying still as Jane was slowly putting more pressure to the knife that he started bleeding.

"Jake!" I yelled but he stayed staring at Jane waiting for a reaction from her but she stayed glaring. That was until she let go of the knife and fell to the side. Jake laid out his hand for her to fall on but he was still bleeding. Jade was still on top of me but I grabbed her hand and I pushed her off as hard as I could and ran toward where Dave and the others were.

Jake P.O.V.
I put my hand on my neck to stop the bleeding while Kanaya was making sure Jane was okay. Dirk went over to me and sat next to me looking concerned and confused. I looked over at the Empress when John yelled,

"NOW!"

The door was slammed open by the sea guards and a tall lady with Black hair and a red dragon cane. The Empress looked furious,

"Redglare...."

Im assuming that that was the judges name because all of a sudden the Empress was handcuffed by chains that appeared from the ground and she was forced to kneel down. She was not happy about that at all.

"Empress, after all the crimes that you have committed and finally with the evidence presented you are here by stripped of your title and will now be sent to the deep waters where you will live out your sentence."

The Empress glared and then I saw Jade bring up the knife and point it at her own neck.

"Jade!" I wanted to run over to her but Dirk pulled me back.

"Let me go, or else this sweet little girl is dead." The Empress spoke out. Jade only stood still as the knife was slowly pressing more on her neck.
