Skyler's POV:

I was still furious at Blake for rejecting me. I knew I would be heartbroken, but I wasn't yet.

I ditched school and walked back to the pack house.

I stomped up the stairs to my small, bare room and tore three pieces of paper out of my notebook. The first letter was to the whole pack.

Bye bitches.

I decided that you've treated me like absolute shit for too long. I'm sick of being the pack slave, so now I'm escaping this hellhole.

The next letter was too Nathan.

Dear Nathan,

You of all people should have been there for me. Our parents dying wish to you was that you take care of me. Instead, you did the exact opposite. they would be so ashamed. Just know, that if i don't die, and we see each other in the future, I will NEVER forgive you.

And lastly, Blake.

Blake,

You, my mate, were supposed to be the one person that was supposed to love me unconditionally and accept me for me. But instead, you hate me for something I didn't do.

I set the notes on my bed, and ran out the front door. I hadn't shifted yet, so I ran in human form until I reached my safe haven.

It was a beautiful cave hidden by a wall of ivy and has a small pond inside of it. I go hide there when I get a particularly nasty beating, which is about once a week.

I was sitting there, finally letting the tears out, when I all off a sudden started to feel an awful pain.
