Skyler's POV:

Fuck, I thought as Blake's lips met mine. I did want this, but I didn't know if I was ready for it. Was I?

As he started to pull back, thinking that the reason I wasn't responding was because I didn't want him, I decided I was as ready as I'd ever be.

I began to move my lips again, and I felt him breathe a sigh of relief against my lips and smile. Our lips moved in time with each other, and for the first time in my life, I felt complete. Soon, the kiss deepened, and he requested entrance, which I gladly gave him.

I pulled away, needing to catch my breath, and he began placing feather light kisses down my jaw, to my neck. He began kissing and biting down to where my mark would be placed, and I came to my senses.

"Blake," I gasped out, pulling away from him. "We need to stop. I'm not ready for that. I'm sorry."

"Don't be," he said with a reassuring smile, "I won't make you do anything you aren't completely sure about. I'm just grateful that you're letting me take you on a date. I didn't think you'd be even close to ready to bare my mark for a while."

"Thank you," I smiled. "Maybe we should go wherever this mystery date is."

Turns out, the big mystery date was Chinese takeout eaten at the local park. In other words, it was perfect.

After we ate, we began to run around the park like children. I ran in the direction of the swings, with Blake following close behind me.

"Push me!" I exclaimed as I sat on one of the swings. He paused for a moment, pretending to be thinking.

"I think I'll pass," he smirked, choosing instead to sit on the swing next to mine.

"Fine then. Be that way," I huffed, turning my head away from him.

"C'mon Sky, you know I was kidding. I'll push you if you want," he tried, after many failed attempts of getting me to speak to him.

"Push me and you shall be forgiven, peasant,"I said in a stuck up manner, turning to look at him.

"Peasant? That's a new one," he chuckled as he went behind me and began to push.

As he began pushing higher and higher, I decided to do something I did as a child. When I got high enough that my butt sort of lifted off of the swing when I was coming down, I jumped.

And me being me, I landed flat on my ass.

"Fuck!" I shouted as I stood up. "Why the hell did I think that was a good idea?"

"Are you okay?" Blake asked as he he came around next to me, looking genuinely worried.

"Yeah, I just bruised my dignity," I shrugged. "It doesn't even hurt anymore, don't worry." He blushed a crimson color as I stood on tip toes and kissed him on the cheek.

"I think we should get home," he told me after looking at his phone. "Your brother told me to have you back by ten and it's eleven thirty now."

I updated! I probably wouldn't have for a few more days if it weren't for my sister @Piercetheveil_islife because she may or may not have threatened me. I hope you liked it, and I didn't want to do the cliché picnic in the woods first date so I did what I'd like as a first date.

I'm gonna try to update at least one more time over the break, but no promises.

As I said in my other book Savior, the author spotlights shall be no more because I don't think anyone actually paid any attention.

And seriously guys? 23 K reads? That's absolutely insane! I never expected to get that many reads, and it makes me so happy that people are really reading this.

Please vote and comment, there's too many ghost readers here! With that, I'm gonna end this ridiculously long authors note.

Song of the chapter: Keep Holding On by Falling in Reverse.
