Rejected By the Alpha (On Hold)

chapter 4

Nathan's POV:

I can't believe what Skyler did to Blake! She'll be punished after school.

After school:

"That scum better have food ready when I get home. I mean, she's in enough trouble as it is," I said to myself while driving to the pack house.

When I got there I walked into the kitchen, and there was no food.

"Skyler! Get your worthless ass down here now!"

No reply.

"Skyler! Don't make me come up there!"

Still no reply. I stormed upstairs and opened the door to her room. She wasn't there. Her stuff was, but she wasn't. I saw three notes on her bed and gr abbed the one addressed to me.

Dear Nathan,

You of all people should have been there for me. Our parents dying wish to you was that you protect me. Instead, you did the exact opposite. They would be so ashamed. Just know that if I don't die, and we meet in the future, I will NEVER forgive you.

                             Skyler

I read the story and started bawling. My sister left because of me. She could never survive alone. We never trained her. I have to alert the alpha.

Blake's POV:

I was running to let out some steam when Nathan mind linked me.

Alpha, come to the pack house. It's an emergency.

He sounded like he was crying so I knew he was serious.

I'm on my way.

I ran to the pack house and found Nathan in Skyler room, crying.

"What happened?" I asked, even though I was sure I could guess it.

"I-it's Skyler. Sh-she's gone," he said and started crying again. "She's gone and it's all my fault! Here she left you a note too."

He handed me a note with my name on it. I took it with trembling hands and began to read.

Blake,

You, my mate were supposed to be the one that loves me unconditionally and accept me for me. But instead, you hate me for something I didn't do.

        Your MATE, Skyler

"It's not your fault, it's mine," I said as I handed him my note. As sion our was in his hands, I ran.

"YOU WHAT?!?!" he bellowed as I locked my bedroom door. I heard him pound on my door for a half hour before I jumped out the window, shifting in midair. My wolf let out a howl of despair as I ran into the forest.
