I still felt the pricks of thorns on my arms. I shrugged the thought away. I woke up in a strange home. My old home. The birds singing their sweet song, the smell of breakfast and/or other foods downstairs, and the muffled voices. I felt an arm on my chest, pulling me in closer. Maxwell. "Hey....?" I asked. He moaned. "Let me go...." I murmured, turning to my side. His adorable sleeping face was....well...adorable. His bangs sliding off of his other eye. I've never seen it before. His tail flicked from side to side. Was he interested in something? "Besides....I shouldn't even be near you." I continued. "Why not?" He asked. "Hanahaki." I whispered under my breath. "That doesn't matter! I don't care!" He yelled, grabbing my hands.
He gave me a smile and freed one of his hands. He then moved it to his bangs and started lifting it up eventually showing:
