I sat up in my bed next morning. No kisses.

I trudged all the way to the dining room and opened the doors. "Finally awake I see..." mom smiled slightly. "I try to be. Where are my kids anyways? And Ametri?" I asked, sitting down in a seat. "Ametri's locked up still and your kids are in bed." Dad responded.
....
They had decided to bury Maxwell under a lotus tree.
Here lies a great hero.
A great friend.
A great son.
A great father.
A great husband.
Was written in the huge trunk of the tree. I placed my hand over the word husband. "I'm back...how are you...?" I asked. No response. "I-I miss you...please come back...one day..." I smiled quiveringly, slowly taking my hand off.

"Can we go see aunt ametri?" Zoe asked, swinging her legs on the chair. I shook my head no. "Why? Why not?" Nathan had asked. "Maybe she'll shoot you like she did with your father. I don't know." I responded. "Ok dad. I'm sorry for my language but calm the fuck down. We know you're depressed and all but we're done with your bullshit." Bianca spoke out. I looked at her."Fine then." Was all I said. I got up and went to my room, slamming the door shut.

"Ametri escaped. She's planning another war..." mom spoke, picking at her helmet. It was gold with one of those long, red Mohawks on it. Mom was never this worried or angry.
....
"She's planning on getting the two beacons. Your brother and yourself. The next phase is her making a deal with you. Like: bringing Maxwell back." Dad continued for her. "Omg! It's just like the justice league where Steppenwolf has those things called the mother box. Dad and uncle Mavis are those things!" Zoe smiled brightly."One problem." I spoke, slowly pointing to the door.
A man in a hoodie kicked the door open.
He removed his hoodie and everything froze for me."M-max..?" I asked in a quiver.
"That's right baby." He grinned.
"I'm back."
