Believe it or not

I winced as Kas brushed my hair. "That hurts you-" I was cute off with her saying "Almost done!" "Your hair is way better when it's long..." Caitlyn said, running her fingers through it. I crossed my arms. "He'll love you like this! Trust us!" Kas said, placing the brush down. "Why'd you have to cut it anyways?" I asked. "Oh my god! I think he's dead!" Mavis yelled from downstairs. "He's all bloody you idiot! Of course he's dead!" Sophia yelled. I ran downstairs in a hurry. They were right....Maxwell was dead. His eyes were open but he was indeed...dead. My hands were shaking and I went pale. I knelt beside his body, asking "w-where's dad...?" "He was the one that killed him." Mavis said. "Then I wanna kill him!" I yelled through my tears.

I saw him sitting on his throne made of bones. "He was a nuisance to me and you anyways." He spoke. "I want him back!" I yelled at him. "He's long gone like your mother...." he whispered. "You'll be long gone in a second if you don't listen!" I screamed. "Give me the everstone or else you'll die like him." He said, getting up. "Give me my husband back then." I growled. "Never in a million years-" he jolted upright, and without looking down he felt the silver blade through his chest. He disappeared in a shimmering light. What just happened....?

The figure was wearing a completely black cloak, cleaning its bloody blade. "Thanks...." I said. "No need...I've been wanting to fight you since I first met you!" The figure yelled, pulling down the hood. Ok, ok, ok: pause. First Maxwell was dead and now....he's back? Something seems fishy. But hey, demon dad is dead and I'm happy. His eyes were a glimmering crimson and his tail swayed in a slow but steady motion. "Fight me..." he crooned. I shook my head slowly and drew my knife. "I'm ready." I said.

I laid on the ground, groaning with pain. "I never liked you." He said. I sat up slowly. "I never meant to ask you to marry me." He continued. I started tearing up. "I never even loved you." He continued.

Maxwell signed deeply, asking "I know I already asked you to marry me but...can we start over?" I nodded slowly, still having no clue.
So he continued by saying:

"You're beautiful and somehow you managed to make these beautiful children along the way. I mean: look at you. I don't know what I'd do without you in my life. You keep me sane, happy, excited, and you make me feel alive. You're there when I need you the most. You're there when I'm sick. You're there even though I'm pissed off. And you're especially a great dad dealing with them. I love you to bits and I wanted to know if you'll....marry me again?" He asks, kneeling onto one knee.

I was practically bawling right now. "I~is someone filming this..?" I whimpered. "Yep." Caitlyn responded. "Who cares! Of course I'll freaking marry you, you idiot!" I screeched, jumping onto him. He laughed.

"You look cute with a full head of hair...even though it's short." He said, hugging me closely.
