Every-time I've slept....I've been having vivid dreams of Darin. More like dad.
"You see....Grimore was originally in better shape than this...." he whispered. I like his whispers. It's like the sound of wind blowing through a tree. "How?" I asked. "When you came to be.....I was going to make you the new ruler while I rested...but now...I have to take stand." He said, getting up from his seat. "Ohh....really?" I asked, full of curiosity. He laughed. "When the right day comes....I'll come and get you. But for now...I'll only be able to contact you by Dream." He said. I nodded. "Be safe and please....don't go outside alone without protection." He said, disappearing in a shimmer of light.
I woke up with a jump. The first thing I saw was dads cloak. "Be safe my child....don't go outside without protection." the note read. I put it on. "Huh...." I started. Maxwell came inside, causing me to jump. "Looking good..." he said. "I gotta go somewhere..." I continued for him. "I'll come with!" He smiled brightly, grabbing his sword. "Then....get the girls. I'll meet you at the waterfall." I said, walking out. I didn't know what was worse: me being suspicious or not fawning over him at least once.
I was meditating again. "How's your leg son...?" He asked. "Fine." I answered. "Ah, I see you found another way to communicate with me. Very good." He said, smiling slightly. "Will I become you...? Evil?" I asked. "There's a slight chance you will...but....how's the child..?" He asked. "Dunno.....but I need to ask you something." I said. "You are talking to a god of some sort." He chuckled. "Who was my mother?" I asked. "Amelia was a human. Blonde with your milky color. Her beauty was captivating and amazing....I loved her very much. I never told her I was like this." He said. "Like what, dad?" I asked. Tears streamed down his cheeks. "She gave up her own life for you to be..physically here with me." He continued. "Then....who's kellious and echidna?" I asked. "Substitutionary parents. A coverup." He answered. "Thanks...." I answered. "No...thank you....we'll talk again soon...," he said, disappearing in a shimmer of light.
"Hey! We're here!" Kas screeched. I jumped. "We grabbed some lunch on the way...no wonder it's night." Sophia said, pointing to the sky. I winced, placing my hand on the back of my neck. "What's wrong?" Caitlyn asked. "Nothing...I'm fine." I answered. "You sure?" Maxwell asked, grabbing my with hand. "Yeah...." I sighed.
I felt a splinter and a petal growing in my neck. The hanahaki disease is back I guess. Hooray.
