Happy (Early) Halloween !!
Here is the weekly Friday chapter. Since we are approaching one of my favorite holidays I am releasing two chapters for all my stories as well as a new story!
***The second chapter will be released later.***
Above is the cover I drew for the newest story (Kinda fitting for Halloween too). I still have not decided on a name for it so I won't release that one until later today. I hope you guys check it out.
Cheers,

Some Trivia: I really like Japanese so I should mention that Aka's name is actually a play on the word AKARUI which means bright.

Lyretta watched, laughter in her eyes as the little girl forcibly msde her brother to return and properly thank her.
The 'Big Brother' turned back and looked at her closely for the first time.
Lyretta looked back at him and as soon as their eyes met all mirth was wiped from her face. She opened her eyes wide and really looked at the man in front of her. Her cheeks warmed as her eyes focused completely on him.
He was the most handsome man she had ever seen!
He had short neck length shiny brown hair, a nicely shaped nose, wide lightly colored lips, and bright chestnut brown eyes. He was also very tall and towered over her petite form, forcing her fine neck to strain as she stared into his enchanting eyes. He was dressed in a well tailored black suit, typical for most nobles, but Lyretta did not even notice his fine clothing.
Lyretta inhaled and forgot how to exhale as she was captured by his eyes. She continued to stare at the man, more transfixed by the second.
The man was used to such looks and was not at all taken aback, but he had also paused when he had seen her properly. Recognition had flickered through his eyes.
"You." He said looking at her intently. He had an inkling he had seen her before, but he could not place her.
Lyretta immediately broke out of her stupor when she heard his voice.
She curtsied first to try and hide her burning embarrassment. Her face felt extremely hot and she just knew she looked like a tomato.
Slowly she forced back her embarrassment and properly introduced herself.
"Good evening, I am Lady Lyretta." Lyretta stood straight once more and lightly smiled at the man, her eyes forming small crescent moons.
She looked at the man expectantly but he said nothing.
"May I inquire as to what your identity is?" The man continued to look at Lyretta with a quiet frown on his fine face, so Lyretta took the initiative to inquire his identity.
"My name is Prince Aka, of the Kingdom of Rui." The broke his silence and answered very succinctly.
At the mention of his name the color immediately drained from Lyretta's face.
Her mouth gaped open and her eyes widened in shock. Immediate she turned around and ran as fast as she could out of the garden. She didn't care how rude she was, she could not stay there.
For the second time that day people watched as Lyretta ran away.
Prince Aka watched in silence as the woman ran from them. He said nothing as he looked at the retreating back with disinterested eyes, but little missy looked at Lyretta's retreating back completely puzzled.
Prince Aka looked at his little sister who was now shaking his sleeve.
"Big Brother, why did Big Sister leave? I wanted to invite her to tea." Missy pouted as she looked up at prince Aka and acted spoiled. She had not seen anything that might scare or upset Lyretta so she could not understand.... why did she run away so fast?
As she looked at her brother she noticed dirt on the hand that held her brother's sleeve. She scrunched her eyebrows and her earlier ordeal suddenly returned to her.
"Big Brother, I want to go home !" Even though Missy usually acted spoiled she was actually very mature for her age, but she really had been scared earlier. She had not meant to stray away from her brother, and she had been very worried when she had hidden in the trees as she had waited for him to find her. Now that she was alone with her brother those emotions returned. She momentarily put aside the issue with Lyretta and sniffled as she remembered her earlier fright.
Prince Aka picked her up and pulled her into his arms.
"Don't cry little one. Let us go home." He patted her back softly and the girl stopped crying and slowly fell asleep in his arms.
As Aka walked back to their sleeping quarters and all the while he couldn't stop thinking about the young woman with purplish grey eyes. His face seemed to be caught in a frown as he tried to remember where he had seen the girl before.
