The other ministers and representatives gathered also stared at Lyretta with disapproval.

Lyretta did not care, not even paying them any mind.

King Roin cleared his throat and gestured for Lyretta to come forward. Now in front of the dais for his throne Lyretta opened the letter and handed it to him.

King Roin accepted the letter and read through it in much the same fashion Lyretta had.

By the end of it he was breathing heavily and trembling in anger. "Guards!" he yelled at the top his lungs.

"Majesty!" More than twenty guards piled into the assembly room and bowed in unions.

"Find that unfilial eldest daughter of mine, bring her here! Then go and bring Prince Aka. Immediately!" He yelled in anger as his chest heaved in anger.

"King Roin, you should calm down. Do you not see your surroundings?" Marchioness Alitia said as she walked into the assembly room slowly. Amidst all the chaos she was the calm and tranquil stream of water.

King Roin looked around and realized she was right. The ministers were all still there and they were looking around with raised eyebrows and wagging mouths.

"The assembly is dismissed." King Roin said for all the ministers and representatives to hear.

"Might we ask for a reason?" Asked a particularly bold and nosy minister.

"Oh, such a good minister. Cares for the kingdom to the point that he questions the King's orders." Marchioness Alitia said with a small smile, she even actually sounded like she was congratulating them for their hard work instead of openly ridiculing.

The minister paled at the allegation and quickly sought to make amends. "This minister did not mean to question his majesty. We will dismiss ourselves per your orders your majesty." Following his lead, the ministers and representatives quickly filed out of the room.

The room was left empty except for a father a daughter and marchioness Alitia. The eerie silence in the room was not broken until the door opened again and Aka was escorted in alongside Little Missy.

Aka walked in very regally with Little Missy nestled in his arms. "Your majesty, I must admit I have never received such a forceful invitation." Aka said as he put down little missy.

Little missy promptly ran up to Lyretta and made 'pick me up' motions. Lyretta helpfully complied.

"Big sister, why is the King so mad." Little missy whispered into Lyretta's ear.

Lyretta smiled a little and patted missy on the head as she made shushing noises.

"I meant no offense Prince Aka, however I have heard some startling news and thus needed to have you brought here quickly." King Roin explained.

Aka did not care but still continued with the pretense demanded by the situation. "What news do you speak of your majesty?" He asked as he crossed his arms and quickly glanced toward Missy to make sure she was fine. She looked very comfortable in Lyretta's arms, so he stopped worrying.

"My eldest daughter has disappeared." King Roin said, then he held up the letter. "She also said she wants to end her engagement with you." He shook the letter, the paper made crinkling noises as he did so.

Aka frowned but did not reach out for the paper, nor did he make any excuses. He had intended to marry because it had been an agreement between Kingdoms and because he had no other aspirations. If the bride no longer wanted him.... Then so be it.

Missy on the other hand perked up. "Big brother, does that mean you can marry big sister now?" She asked innocently as her little cherry pink lips parted in a smile and her big eyes began to shine.

Lyretta answered long before Aka even had a chance to understand the question. "Not possible! Sister said she just needed time." She was very firm with her words. No matter how she felt, and to be truthful her heart still raced every time she saw Gabe, she would never betray her sister. Even if her sister did not acknowledge her, sisters were sisters.
