When Devasena woke up, she knew it was morning already. She could hear a gentle hum from the washroom, which uneased her even more. It was past eight and she couldn't even stay awake for Avanthika last night. Devasena kept sitting on the bed, all dumb.
Avanthika got out of the washroom. She was ready again to leave.
" goodness madam! You were sleeping like a bear! I prepared breakfast already. Are you planning to drop college again? Joshita called me, your phone isn't being answered. "
She applied stuffs on her face before the mirror while talking, and Devasena got up to go to the washroom.
" She said she'll meet you at 9 in Ethnicity. "
Joshita very anxiously stared at the entrance time and again, while Devasena sat, deeply engrossed in the previous day's meeting.
With the man in question.
Devasena had slept sound the previous night, without any vision. Initially she seemed stressed, but then an utter calm happened, and she saw nothing that could help her write her own story.
And Amarendra won't....help her....
" There! "
Devasena's thought process was interrupted by a super excited Joshita. Devasena shifted her gaze to the entrance.
Adway stood talking to a senior sculptor.
" Ohh my god he's soo cuteee!! "
Devasena was tired of Joshita's childishness. She got a new crush every third day. So gross. Joshita grabbed her hand. " Let's go. Please Deva! Please please please! "
" Are you insane? Who's he? I talked to him for more than an hour yesterday and I got nothing impressive. "
" You just shut up. You aren't straight actually. "
Devasena hit her and she hit back. With this, she suddenly remembered of the money she had to return to Adway. She glared at Joshita and walked to him, who joyfully jumped along.
Adway seemed very pleased to have met her again. After an initial greeting with Joshita too, who was already drooling it seemed, Devasena brought out the note, and mentioned the episode.
" What? Are you sure he said about me? I just landed yesterday after two long years, how can I pay for any work to some waiter? And what work exactly? "
Devasena sat with her brows squeezed while she mixed colors on the palate. BD hadn't turned up today because it was supposedly his anniversary. While his son appeared and introduced himself to almost everyone in the department. His son was really much better. So better that a handful were already in his clutches. Like Joshita.
Joshita was a great friend from the batch, of oil works. She took seat just beside Devasena and was finishing a landscape.
Devasena though was highly distressed with the waiter's incident. Her thought did not make any sense, and most importantly, she cursed herself for not asking the waiter, what work did her friend want him to do that he couldn't finish.
Joshita kept on blabbering beside. " I just don't believe this. I am so cursed!! He.... The greatest Adway Mathur.... "
" Just stop overreacting Jo! He's no great in some superlatives. Yes of course he's talented but you are seriously overdoing him. "
