Normani's pov

I ran and ran, still couldn't find her. I just wish she was here so I could explain. But she's gone.

"I just have in question, why?"

I looked around me as I heard the somewhat familiar voice. The voice was of recognition, just a bit low, that's when I knew Lauren was around.

I turned slightly to the left and saw her sitting on a tree stump, about 20 feet away. I walked over to her and sat on the trump across from her.

"I didn't kiss her she kissed me, Lauren. You know I didn't and I wouldn't kiss her, I've never cheated on you and I never will, plus if I thought about cheating, why would it be her?"

Lauren lightened up a bit. I'm glad that she trusts me. "I believe you, I just remembered when I had to sit behind her about three days ago. She was talking to the girl Amaya, talking about, "she's gonna get back at me", and shit like that. I thought of it when I was sitting here. I'm sorry Normani."

"It's okay baby. I'm also sorry for being pressed for the extra credit from the principal. After all it was only until lunch."

Lauren chuckled, "now I got one job." "What is it?"

"Fighting Star." Lauren said as her face started to change into a reddish color. "It's not worth it, you can't just beat her up every time she does something to you."
"Says who," she shrieked, which made me laugh. "You know what?

We got home, I got in the shower and put on some night clothes.

  "Babe, did you want some-"

I went into Lauren's room and she wasn't there. I checked the whole house and still no sign of her.

"Lauren!" I yelled, with much worry in my voice, where is she? I gave it a little time, she could've just walked to the store or something. Half of an hour went past, and still no sign off her. I tried calling her during those 30 minutes and she hasn't answered any of my calls. Oh lord, Lauren where are you?

I walked down to the basement to turn on the heat, I saw a note on the heater.

'You thought I was done? Well you were wrong! Yeah I got her, this time you're really gonna have to fight for yours. Meet me at this address."

I got the directions and changed into some fighting clothes. This has to be Star, but I can handle her.

Sorry I haven't been on top of updating and this is shitty but I'll be back on it by next week. I have a little plot twist coming up so make sure you're up to date on this book. Bye!
