"Leon, it's only been a year I don't think we're ready."

"Martha, this shit keeps me up at night, we are ready."

"Having another baby won't replace her, babe."

Leon stares at the ground, "at least I'll have my baby girl I always wanted."

Martha grabs Leon's hand.

"Don't get me wrong babe, I thought about it too. But I realized that the time will come eventually and rushing will only make it worse in the end. I want my daughters life to be cherished, even thought it was short, not to just forget about her and replace her. When the time is right, we'll at least partially repair our family, we will be happy again, Leon."

He squeezes her hands and smiles, the kisses her.

'You're right, honey, once I get my baby back we'll be happy again, in my eyes it's not replacing it's just filling the void.' Leon thought.

"You're right honey, the time will come. Now let's go to bed we've both got a long day of working tomorrow."

Dinah's pov

I am so ready to catch this bastard before he hurts my friends and their kid. Lauren and 'Mani have been through a lot, and I wanted to give at least some peace by solving this and saving their family. Today we're having a meeting, hoping that we uncover some more pieces of the puzzle.

"Alright guys, apparently Normani had more than one visit at the clinic she's been three times and I've sent the names of the donors to your screen." Our tech specialists says.

Then, three men pop up on the projector.

"Marshall William, Dorian Taylor, and Leon Davison."

"Do background checks, most likely the suspect has an aggressive side."

Gotcha, I'll hit you when I have something."

Leon's pov

"Did you do what I asked, Lia?"

She made a face, I then knew she didn't.

"So you're telling me I wasted five thousand dollars?!

"Sir, that's high risk that'll put both of us in federal priso-

I slapped her, "that's why you cover your fucking tracks, why would you agree to do it if you couldn't cover your ass dummy!"

"I- I'm sorry I tried I really did."

"Sorry not good enough," I then pulled out my gun.

"Sir you can have the money back please just spare me my life!," she cried, tears rushing down her face, "I have a little girl who needs her mother."

"My little girl needs hers and you're keeping her from us, screw you."

Next thing you know, POW POW!

"Until I get my baby girl back everyone involved is dead."

I then flee.

Two hours later..

Dinah's pov

"We just got a call, there's been a homicide."

We then proceed to the house, as I was driving I realized this was the way to Alia Kimerson's, one of the nurses at the hospital Normani's in.

"I hope this is not-"

"Sure is, Orange County pd beat us there, she was shot two times in her head."

At the house~

"She had to be helping the suspect, and couldn't give him what he was looking for." I said.

"You think this is the same person? This could've been anybody." Chief says.

I start to look around, I spot her phone.

"Guys! She has a message from an unknown number, most likely from a burner. Look."

'I'm on my way over, I hope you can get me my baby.'

"Bingo, I was right."

I put it in a bag for evidence.

"Wow, she really risked her career for this dude, they must be close. Maybe they're related.

I then call our tech specialist.

Dinah: hey Tricia

Tricia: What you need boop

Dinah: see if Alia was related to those three names

Tricia: alright

She pauses.

Tricia: here's something funny, she's had ties with all three. She married Marshall, Dorian is he cousin and Leon, wait I think I may have something. Her and Leon both got suspended in school for keying an algebra teacher's car, but she dropped the charges two days later and died two weeks after that

Dinah: they could've killed he together too, he may be our suspect can you send his address

Tricia: already sent

I then hang up.

"Alright, so apparently she had relations with all three but her and Leon actually have a little bit of history from high school from keying a teacher's car. She was killed two weeks later from being electrocuted."

"Let's get him."
