So Story time Because you all want more of this IceWing
When Slate was little, he watched his dad come home one day from battle. His body was severely injured, but even moreso was his reputation. Slate's father lost his leg, and his position in the Third Circle, and was knocked back to the Sixth Circle. It was then that Slate realized how corrupt the IceWing hierarchy really was.
When he grew older, he rallied hundreds of others of his tribe, and rose up in rebellion of the social order. However, the rebellion was short-lived, and ended with the beheading of Slate, in the midst of all of his captured followers
Luckily for Slate, the executioner was really bad at his job
He lived, with horrible scars, but Slate was alive. He rebuilt his rebellion, now in the shadows, and left the Ice Kingdom to form Borderlands Den, a safehaven for rogues on the border of the kingdoms of Ice and Sand
Slate now abides there, hoping to rally enough soldiers to once again face his tribe. He is accompanied by a strange, large IceWing known as DewClaw.
