As the title tells, you guys can probably guess how the vote went down. It was close, but Fantasy won, as I counted a vote for each category every time someone said "Either 1 or 3".

Now, getting into the meat of things.

(Consider this a tidbit of Mozziu's Writing Tips)

I want to express something that is very important to me. While writing, the thing that can truly drive a plot are the actions and reactions of your characters. They are a very important part o making a fun, enjoyable story, and one of the main reason I put so much stress into perfecting a personality for a character. Even still, I fuss and nitpick about my own OCs, strictly because I imagine their lives as a story, and their personality must be clear in order to make a story good.

At least in my opinion, that is.

That's why this chapter exists. I need to get characters in order before we begin writing the story. Now, I say "characters" meaning the people that interact inside of the story. I say "players" when referring to those who play AS the character. It's like, mini-acting. The players should try to stay in-character while reading and choosing their actions as the story progresses.

Now, fret not, players. The characters you will be playing, I hope will be as close to your real personalities as possible. This way, I can really immerse you, as people, into the story we're going to be making here.

So, this chapter's purpose is for the players to choose their characters.

I have taken the liberty of creating a few "presetted" characters so-to-speak. They are in case you don't feel like making one up and still need a character to best represent you.

Here are a few available presets for characters-

A small boy training to be a swordsman for his tribe. He is very shy, and despises confrontation. Instead, he tries to talk his way out of most of his problems, but he fights whatever backs him into scenarios he can't escape from.

A Great Griffon. She speaks, and holds her little human friend's protection in high regard She flies him all over the place, but can get sassy with him if he flips attitude. She doesn't take shit from anybody, and can usually get people to back off his one screech from her puffed-up chest. However, she still feels obligated to tote her friends' sorry selves around, because she has no other friends.

A forest imp. She reminds everyone of a doe, with big eyes, hind legs of a deer, and a jumpy personality. She is mischievous, and easily distracted. It's hard to get her to stay on task, but when she does, she does it well. She has the ability to talk to animals, and she often enlists their help, along with the magic of the forest, to do her bidding. The other imps despise her, as she seemingly has all of the power with none of the consequences. She doesn't.

A Royal Guard... fired for his incompetence. He is a brilliant warrior, really, you just have to get him to put the booze down for two seconds in order to get him to pick up an axe. He doesn't to a lot more besides fighting and drinking, but the man has always had a soft spot for puzzles.

No one really knows, exactly what this thing is. It has an olive-green skin, flecked with brown, four arms, and an ability to shift its skin into all sorts of things. It can make it sticky, and climb walls. It can turn hard, and act as an armor without wearing armor, or it can heat itself up and cool itself off in almost an instant. Why it came along on this journey, who really cares, but it is looking for something shiny to eat. Any metal will do.

Finally, we have a princess. Very ladylike, and very demanding. She pulls he weight by giving out royal favors like they were goody bags. She disputes fights, mends armor, and makes tea. She's annoying, but useful to have around.

Those are just a few preset characters I made up on the fly.

Now, players. If you want to make your own character, to really immerse yourself, I suggest that you fill out the form as if it were yourself as a fantasy character. Try to make it as close to your personality as possible. :)

Name-

General age-

Gender-

Species-

Detailed description-

Personality- (Again, try to mold your character after yourself!)

Stereotype- (We all need those characters. The Coward, Brainless, Cutesy, Heroic. Think of a word that you can stuff your whole character into)

And I apologize if this seems a little over-the-top for this thing. I just understand that when people write you (Or your OCs) into a story, you can get pretty miffed when they take that character... out of character.. XD

---EDIT---

Only PLAYERS may make their character, guys. If you aren't a player, it doesn't count.

Also, I forgot to ask. Should I refer to characters as their player's usernames? Or a variant thereof?

Or would it be best to stick with the names you guys pick up?
