Harry

I was lounging on the couch as I read a book. Blocking out the sounds of Niall and Louis playing around. They were dancing together as they played Just Dance on the wii. They were being just as loud and obnoxious as they could be like they usually were. It didn't phase me much, I had gotten good at blocking out their noisiness.

Reading a book was always calming and kept me occupied on my free time whenever I wasn't writing in my journal, or taking long thoughtful walks. The guys always told me I had turned into some type of movie cliché, but I never really paid attention to that. I was just always lost in my thoughts nowadays. Writing out my thoughts, or reading always helped.

Plus, when you become something like what we are, having so many people depending on you, it does get a little overwhelming. It makes us think about what we're doing right, what we're doing wrong, how to come about a problem and how to fix it. If we can even fix a problem. We have so many lives in the palm of our hands that we need to watch over.

It was kinda hard not to become a little more thoughtful.

Maybe it was easier for everyone else because they weren't constantly thinking about things of the past like I was. I wish I wasn't, but for some odd reason I couldn't stop myself. It was just something that always made an appearance in my mind, something that always replayed itself even when I didn't want it to. But, maybe one day I'd be able to get over it. Move on like everyone else had.

I hope so.

"Harry!" Louis screams in my ear as he grabs my shoulders, scaring me from my thoughts, making the book slip out of my hand. He and Niall burst out laughing. I sigh heavily and look at my book on the floor, now closed.

"You made me lose my page." I complained. Louis pats my shoulders, quickly snatching the book up before I had to a chance to grab it.

"Ah ah, stop being such a book worm and come dance with us." Louis says, flashing away and flashing back instantly with no book in his hand. My eyes widen.

"Where'd you put my book?" I ask. Louis smirks.

"I'll tell you after you come have some fun with us." He says. I sigh again, looking over at Niall standing a few feet in front of the tv.

"I don't wanna play." I mumble.

"Well, mister, you don't have a choice." Louis grabs me and flashes over to where Niall is standing. I get dizzy a little from the quick motion, and then I glare at Louis.

"Fine, just one game." I reply. They both cheer and high five one another. I roll my eyes, holding back a fond smile that wanted to show itself. Even when I was down, these guys always knew how to cheer me up, and they always encouraged me to engage in fun activity. They were the friends people begged to have in their lives and I was lucky to have them, no matter how annoying they could be at times.

One game turned into two and then three. We played just dance for about half an hour until Niall and Louis started cheating, pushing and shoving, trying to make somebody else mess up and get a lower score. Niall, being the sore loser he is starts whining, sending both he and Louis into bickering mode. I take this distraction as a cue to sneak away from the game and go search for my lost book!
