Harry

I swung my legs as I sat on the edge of the tower, on the roof. I looked below me, watching the waves of the ocean crash against the land. The wind was blowing slightly, making my hair which was tied back into a pony tail, move with it. It was a little sketchy to sit here, but I've always sat here whenever I come up here to do yoga on the roof top. It's calming.

I've had a lot on my mind, as usual. But even more now. Still trying to come to a realization of what was happening around me and realm of questions inside my head. Not the mention the failed first attempt at a romance between Liam and I, and new beginnings for us. I was thinking more and more about that. My mind was telling me that I should let go of everything I've been holding captive inside of me and go for it. Telling me that I needed to move and start over with a new flame.

I couldn't agree more with that thought, but there was still this large strain on my heart, pulling me in a different direction. I hated feeling so torn like this and I hated that I had to think about something when the answer was so open and obvious. It really shouldn't be such a hard decision. To hold on to something that's long gone and toxic, or to have something new that'll make me happy. I sigh, looking out over the city.

It was afternoon, the sky was still light, but a little gray. It would probably rain some time today. The weather today didn't help my mood at all, it actually kinda matched it. I didn't like feeling this way, but it's how's I'd been for a while now and nothing's really changed. I take my phone from out my pocket and check the time, 4:48pm. I'd been out here for a good half hour, I should probably head back in.

I lift myself up, and walks off the edge managing not to lose my balance and made my way back inside. Soon I am in the kitchen, in need of a snack. Not feeling up to cooking anything, I grab a ripe yellow apple from the fruit bowl, taking a bite into it and humming at the flavor. I sit down at the table, quietly eating my apple. It wasn't long before I hear footsteps and seconds later, Liam sits down across from me.

"I thought you were still up on the roof." He says. I shake my head, lowering my hand that held the fruit.

"I'm done for the day, came down for a snack." I tell him. Liam nods and we both are silent for a moment as he watches me. I slowly eat my apple, feeling a little weird with him eyeing me the way he did. Then I stop.

"What is it?" I ask.

Liam shakes his head, "Nothing, you're just really pretty." He says. I smile, turning around slightly to toss the half eaten apple into the trash. Then I face him again.

"You've mentioned that before." I point out, grinning slightly. Liam chuckles and shifts on his chair a little, running a hand through his hair.

"Yeah, I guess I have.." He trails off. I raise an eyebrow feeling like he has more to say. Which I was right when seconds later he speaks again. "Hey Har, I was wondering since we've decided to give this another try, that maybe you wouldn't mind if I took us on our first official date?"

My eyes widen slightly at the request. Yeah, we may have been trying things out with one another, but now that I think about it. We actually haven't been out on a real date yet. Which surprises me considering how persistent and determined Liam had been. But if I was going to give him a real chance, maybe a date wouldn't be so bad. Would it?

I bite my lip, eyeing him before I slowly start to nod. "S-sure, that would be nice."

"Really?"

"Yeah, I would love to." I assure him. Liam smiles widely, getting up and walking over to me pulling me into a hug. I laugh softly, hugging him back. It lingers a bit longer before Liam pulls away, looking into my eyes.

"I promise I will make it worth your time." He says. I nod with a little smile as Liam leans in and kisses my cheek. We share one more smile, before it's interrupted by the crime alert going off. We both quickly react, darting off into the lab to locate where we were needed. The red dot was blinking somewhere on the side of the screen, pinpointed on the old jailhouse. I frowned because we didn't usually get crimes there due to the maximum security. There must've been a jailbreak.

"Let's go." Liam says. We all follow his command and rush towards the car.

I just hope this isn't as bad as it can be.

In record time, we were right at the scene and rushing into the prison. I pause, gawking slightly at the huge piece of the stone wall that was missing from the building, the bits crushed and fallen to the ground. Someone with abilities had to have done this, no one could've knocked down a wall like that without help. We heard a commotion inside, guards yelling and shots being fired followed by grunts and loud bangs.

Liam quietly motions for us to move in and we follow suit. We go in and immediately met by prisoners running around freely, some guards are lying around on the floor unconscious. I still couldn't see where the source of the problem was coming from. I had no idea what was going on or who caused this but we needed to figure it out and quick.

"Niall make sure the prisoners don't escape. Louis and Harry split up and search, alert the team if back up is needed." Liam says. I nod along with everyone else and we all split from each other doing what we are instructed. I go in a different direction from the others, which leads me down a long hallway. It's slightly noisy due to most of the prisoners who are still locked in their cells making crude comments as I walked passed. I ignore them, using the light from my blue energy. I couldn't see anything unusual so far. Once I made it to the end of the hall way, there were doors leading into many different rooms. One of them being a security room. I walk inside seeing the guard was knocked out in his chair.

Since this room had access to the cameras, I quickly go over to check the cameras to spot out the crook we were looking for. My eyes scan quickly over the cameras, and before I really get a good look at all of them, I hear the door creak. I instantly move to turn around, but my actions being too slow as I am grabbed and placed into a headlock also feeling a slight tug in my hair. I grunt, digging my fingernails into their arm.

"I thought I told you to stay out of my way."
