My phone goes off as I am tying up my hair. I grab my phone off of my bed and check to see who had texted me.

From: Drew

Hey, come to the lobby :-) ~ D

I smile at my phone, what is going on? I look in the mirror and shrug at my outfit. I was dressed casual since today was performance day and we would be getting hair, make up and wardrobe done at the studio. Oh well, this will just have to do.

I grab my bag and yell goodbye to Addy before making my way into the elevator. Just as the doors are about to close they open again and much to my dismay in walks Courtney. Don't get me wrong I would like for us to at least be friendly and I have tried but she is relentless. She has only been semi-friendly with a few people and for some reason she hates me most of all.

As the doors close I give her a small smile, she replies by rolling her eyes at me and sighing. "Excited for tonight?" I ask, attempting yet again to be civil. "If you're going home then sure, I'm excited" she replies before pulling out her phone. "You really know how to make a girl feel special don't you?" I say sarcastically as the doors open to the lobby. I spot Drew sitting on one of the sofas with his back to me. I sneak over and cover his eyes with my hands.

"Guess who?" I tease. "Riley?" he says jokingly. I remove my hands and pretend to act offended but I end up laughing instead. "This is for you" he says handing me a starbucks cup. "Oh my gosh! The Drew Ramos bought me a coffee. Can you sign it? I think I might die" I say pretending to be a crazed fan. He pouts at me, "I guess I'll just take this with me" he says and begins to walk away. "Nooo, thank you thank you. You are the best person in the world" I exclaim as I chase him and wrap my arms around him, giving him my puppy eyes. "Fine I guess you can have it back", I grab the cup and take a sip. "Thanks, but seriously why bring me coffee?" I ask, feeling curious. "Well I thought we could go for a walk before we have to be at the studio for the show" he suggests looking slightly nervous. "Let's do it!" I tell him and walk towards the exit. I look over my shoulder and spot a bunch of blonde curls, I forgot that Courtney was in the lobby. She gives me a glare before storming off.

I try to forget it and focus on Drew. "So are you nervous for tonight?" he asks as we walk down the street. "Nervous is an understatement, I think I might spontaneously combust from all the nervous energy" I ramble on. "You'll be fine, just lean on your group and make sure that everyone is feeling good. Trust me if everyone in the group is feeling it the performance is ten times better". "Do you miss it?" I ask, studying his face as he talks. "I do miss it a bit. Don't get me wrong I love what I'm doing now with the guys, but I miss all of the other people from the show. The other boys, the staff, seeing the fans after the shows. I had so many people looking out for me, but now I've got to take more responsibility" he explains, his eyes flick up to meet mine.
