"Guys. What happened," I asked as I walked into my house.

"We found you a new husband," my mom said.

"What? I thought you guys were finally okay with Alex and I."

"Hell no. You're marrying a man," dad piped in.

"Jonah to be exact."

"No. He's a goddamned joke to this whole family. And he's two or three years younger than me. He's ugly. I don't like dick. And I fired him."

"You didn't," he said. I nodded and shrugged. "Get the fuck out."

"Okay," I replied, shrugging. I went upstairs and started packing my stuff. I went downstairs and to my dad's office. I started shoving the files into my bag and I took his hard drive. I'm savage as shit.

I left the house and called Alex. "Hey baby. Did you forget something?"

"No. Can I talk to your mom?" She said yes and I heard her going downstairs as I put my stuff in my car. I opened my laptop and transferred some money.

"What's up, Mischa?"

"Uh, my parents just kicked me out. Can I stay with you guys for like a week?"

"Of course, baby. You know this. You're always welcome," she said.

"Thank you so much," I replied and smiled. I shut my trunk and hung up after we said our good byes. I drove there and saw Alex waiting for me. As soon as I pulled up, she was opening my door.

"Hey. Are you okay," she whispered.

"Yeah. I knew it was coming. I've been looking for a place near by."

"I'm so sorry," she said and took my face in her hands.

"Lex, I'm okay. I promise." I let a small smile form on my face, but she knew it was fake.

"Please don't shut me out now. Not today. Not tomorrow. Never." I got out and hugged her. "Cmon. I'll help you with your stuff." I pecked her lips and walked to the trunk of my car. I grabbed my suitcases and she smiled at me.

"Do you wanna move in with me once I find a place?"

"Um, maybe." I laughed a little and looked at her. "What? I'm nervous."

"Why," I asked and she opened the door to her home.

"It's just a big commitment."

"I know. That's why it's your decision. But, I will make sure there's room for you to leave your stuff over just in case," I replied and kissed her hand. She blushed and set my stuff down on her bed. I laid it beside her bed and grabbed her. "You don't have to give me an answer today."

"If we move in, do we have to have sex," she whispered.

I laughed and said, "No, baby. We don't have to have sex. Those two things don't even correlate."

"I was just asking." Alex hugged me and I held her tightly, never wanting to let her go. "Let's go talk to my mom."

I followed her downstairs, finding her mom in the kitchen. "Hey, Hun," she whispered and hugged me, "how are you?"

"Okay I guess. I thought they were okay with me and Lex, but I guess not."

"I'm making my special brownies. Not the ones with weed but," she replied and kissed my cheek, "just know you always have a family here."

"Thank you, Manni. It means so much to me. I'll probably be out by the end of the month."

"Actually, I was going to talk to you two about that. Is she moving out with you?"
