"Should I get top surgery," I asked Alex. I was getting ready to pick Dmitri up from the airport.

"You never had boobs anyways. You don't even bind anymore because you're so flat chested now."

"Thanks babe," I replied sarcastically and fixed my collar. She smiled at me from her vanity and continued doing her makeup.

"How much time do I have?"

"Like ten minutes," I replied and smiled at her.

"Can you grab my black jeans, dark red top with the long sleeves, and my combat boots?" I put my blazer on and went to the closet. I grabbed what she requested and one of my leather jackets. She finished brushing her hair and put her clothes on. I grabbed my keys and wallet. She ran in with her bag and I opened the door.

We left and I locked the door behind me. "What building?"

"The Same one as always. Shit! My camera!"

"In the back," I replied. I knew she would forget it, so I grabbed it.

"You're a lifesaver. Thank you," she replied and kissed my cheek as I stopped. I smiled at her and turned.

The traffic wasn't that bad, which is a shocker, but it is seven. I stopped at Starbucks and got us breakfast and coffee. I dropped her off and headed towards the airport, which was a clusterfuck. People just can't drive. I got there around 8:30 and texted him. I eventually saw him, so I got out and opened my trunk. I gave him a hug and he put his shit in.

"This is Alex, my boyfriend."

"This is gonna be hell," I replied and looked at the boyfriend' "I'm Mischa. My girlfriend is at school but her name is also Alex."

"Oh my gosh," he said. He laughed and shook my hand. I opened the passenger door and Dmitri got in. Alex climbed in, smiling at me.

"You didn't even open his door," I said and shook my head.

"He doesn't let me. He says it's degrading, so I let him open them himself."

"Lexy won't get in unless I open the door for her. That's how needy she is," I replied and pulled out.

"You look like a whole man, Mischa," Dmitri said.

"Thank you. I try," I answered and smiled.

"So, what's been going on?"

"Nothing much. Just work and taking care of Alex." My phone started ringing and I grabbed it. "It's Alex. Sorry. I gotta take this." I turned the radio down and answered it.

"Hey. How far are you?"

"Probably an hour, why? What's up, baby," I asked.

"She cancelled class. Should I just walk?"

"No. Do not walk home. You don't even have a coat. Go sit in the library. I'll text you when I'm there."

"Mischa, I'll be fine. Plus it's only a fifteen minute walk."

"It's thirty degrees out. Go into the library and wait for me. Plus your jeans are ripped. Please."

"Fine dad."

"Incorrect version of that word but okay."

"Okay, Daddy," she said and giggled.

"I'll be there soon, okay," I replied, "you got some people to meet."

"I know. I'll see you soon. I love you."

"Love you, too." I hung up and put my phone in the cup holder.
