"Mischa! What the fuck," she yelled and looked at me. I grabbed her phone and went to her photo gallery.

"Look at how much fun we had before you found out. How happy we were." I showed him a picture of us. "This is all I want! She is all I want. Dad please. Remember how you used to sit me on your lap and tell me stories about you and mom? And how your parents didn't approve? How mad mom's were because you weren't part of the industry? That's what your doing here."

"No I'm not! I'm doing what's best for the business."

"No. You're not. Killing Alexandria will make my whole will to live go down the drain. Please. I will not want to run the business without her."

"Vova, remember when my parents tried to split us up? Because we were in love. Remember how relieved you were when my dad didn't try to strangle you every time he saw you? You can get there with her. You don't have to kill her. She's too pretty to kill anyways. And she makes our little girl happy. I remember the day we found out we were having a girl; you were ecstatic. You couldn't wait to teach her everything. Don't make her hate you. All you want is for her to be happy. And she's happy with Alexandria," my mom said and walked over. She put her hand on the gun and he looked at her. "Cmon. Give me the gun."

He complied and I smiled, feeling Alexandria back into me. I laid down and pulled her with me. She cried into my chest and I comforted her as my parents left.

"I'm sorry you got dragged into this."

"Me too. I'm so scared."

"I can't believe I've known you for four years." I whispered. She smiled a little, grabbing my hand.

"Believe it. Because I love you," she said and looked up at me.

"I'm sorry for dragging you into all of this. I love you so much. You don't deserve this. You deserve someone better. Not a fucking drug dealer."

"I'll be fine. We're in this together."

"You don't need to be in this business."

"Am I not drug mule material?"

"You are. You're cute as fuck. Baby girl material even. You wouldn't do all my drugs, wouldn't be suspected, and you're good at persuasion."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

I shrugged and she giggled. Man, I love this girl. I just hope we can get past my dad.

Outfits in media. But the suit is supposed to match the red of the dress.

It's Friday night and Alex was busy with her brother since he is back from Iraq. I drove to her house and knocked on the door, hoping she wasn't here.

"Mischa, Alexandria isn't here," her mom said after she opened the door. I mentally high-fived myself.

"Good. Can I just go to her room for a second? I want to give her these before tomorrow." I showed her the small jewellery box.

"Can I peek," she asked.

"Yeah," I said and opened the box.

"Are those real," she asked, gasping. I nodded and smiled. "She's spoiled as hell."

"Then you don't wanna see what else I got her." I laughed a little and she let me in. I went upstairs and grabbed a sticky note.

'Open me.' I wrote and stuck it on the box. I set it on her bed and smiled. I haven't seen her much this week and it sucks. A lot. I left my sweatshirt on her bed and went downstairs. "Thanks Mrs. Accuri!"

"No problem. See you tomorrow sweetie." She hugged me and I left.

The next morning, I was there at seven AM so I couldn't get yelled at for being late. She was eating breakfast with her mom so I went behind her and covered her eyes. "Happy birthday," I whispered in her ear then kissed her cheek, making her smile.

"Hey. Have a seat." I thanked her mom and sat down beside Alex.

"So, I know what I'm gonna do when we graduate," Alex announced.

"Okay. What is it?"

"I'm gonna be a stripper."

"Okay. Whatever you want to do," I said. Her mom was just kinda looking at her like 'what the hell.'

"Are you two going to move out together?"

"Uh-" I looked at Alex for her answer. She knows I want to move down the Virginia Beach but I don't know what she wants. "You know what I want."

"I don't know. We've only been together for six months."

"But you've been best friends for four years."

"True," I said and leaned over. She met me for a kiss and I smiled. "I love you."

"I know. Love you more."

"So, when are you going to Russia?"

"Things changed. I can't go this year," I replied and shrugged, "So, I get to spend more time with Alex." She hugged and and kissed my cheek.

"I know this shouldn't make me that happy but I've missed you so much."

"I know. I'm sorry."

"So, Mischa, do you have a job," her mom said.

"Yeah. Family business."

"Which is...?"

"Uh, it's like importing and exporting goods." Technically, I'm not lying. That's what we do. But it's drugs.

"What do you ship?"

"A mix of everything," I answered.

"So is that your job after high school?"

"Yeah. I've been running it the past two weeks. Grew up in the business." She nodded, accepting the answer.

"I'm gonna go get ready. Follow me, Mischa."

"You act like I don't know where your room is," I said and followed her. I kissed her cheek and smiled. I sat on her bed and she laid on top of me. "Hey, princess."

She smiled and kissed my cheek. "Am I baby girl material?"

"Yes. Very much so. I've told you this before." She took my hands and pinned then against the bed.

"What did you get me?"

"Stuff."
