Chapter 15.

Yes I finally uploaded! I have exams at the moment so my uploads may be a slower than usual but revision calls! Hope you like this chapter :)

Chapter 15.

I took a deep breath as I resurfaced; I could still hear his laughter and decided to get my own back

“Chase!” I screamed splashing around in the water “I can’t breathe!” I let myself drift under the water for a few seconds before resurfacing once more and continuing to splash around

“crap!” he yelled, he immediately dive off the end of the jetty swimming over to where I was, he reached me and pulled me up holding on to me tightly, as soon as he had got hold of me I began to laugh, he looked at me confused before realisation spread across his face

“got you” I said smiling and pulling back from his grasp

“not funny” he said even though he was smiling

“oh it was, plus it got you in to this freezing water” I replied lying out flat so I was floating on my back, I felt a slight splash on my skin adn looked up at Chase, he looked mischievous and I tensed as he splashed me with water

“hey!” I squealed splashing back, he splashed again bigger this time and I swam over to him dunking his head under the water and letting go again, he resurfaced and grabbed my waist lifting me up on to his shoulder, I squealed again loudly as he threw me back in to the water “no fair, your stronger” I said pouting, he laughed and wrapped his arms around my waist

“what you going to do about it?” he asked eyebrows raised, I smirked at him resting my arms on his shoulders before leaning down and kissing him lightly, he pulled me closer deepening the kiss and I ran my hands down his chest, I heard him moan quietly and smiled against his lips, I pulled back and rested my head against his

“I hate to spoil this moment we got going but I am actually freezing my butt off” I said, he laughed and started to swim over to the jetty keeping one arm around my waist, once he reached the side he lifted me up so I was sat on the wooden walkway and hovered in the water in front of me

“so” he said “you like it then?” I smiled down at him and pushed my now wet hair out of my eyes

“definitely, I still can’t believe you even know these places exist” he grinned and turned around beginning to swim, I watched for a while then lay down on to my back enjoying the sun that shone through the trees. I felt more relaxed than I had for a while, it was nice not to worry or feel like you might break down at any moment. Even if I was sure that Chase would be there holding me together, he comes across arrogant and the typical jerk, well he IS a jerk but he has a sweet side too, I hated to admit it but I had him all wrong, I guess I sort of needed him and with all this going on with his dad I guess he needed me too. I didn’t know how long this content feeling would last for, I didn’t even know what me and Chase were exactly, I mean he’s a player, one that could easily break my heart, but I knew I was already in too deep to back out now.

“hey Summer” Chase called breaking me out of my trance, I leant up on to my elbows and looked out to him swimming towards me “you know the surfing thing in a few weeks?”

“yes” I replied rolling my eyes “you’ve barely stopped talking about it” I heard him laugh, he sounded happy too

“well, you’re going to be there right?” I heard the uneasiness in his voice, I sat up looking out at him, he wore a frown and I found myself creasing my eyebrows together

“of course” I replied wondering why he was asking, he sounded slightly anxious, different from his laidback self a few minutes ago “why?” I heard him sigh and watched as he swam back over resting his arms at my feet still in the water
