Goldenstripe watched her kits cuddle against her stomach. She smiled softly. "Congratulations, Goldenstripe ."miley complemented. Miley was her best friend even though she came from the twoleg place. Goldenstripe wrapped her tail around their small fragile bodies. They were all white expect for her only boy who was golden like herself. She had three in total.

Whiteblaze burst through the nursery entrance. "I came as quick as I could. I was on a patrol and we were tracking a fox and-" he blabbered.
"It's ok, my strong deputy."she assured him putting her tail up to cut him off." You were doing what was best for your clan." Goldenstripe said calmly watching as he padded to her.
Goldenkit,miley's only she cat, watch with her eyes widened. She was much larger than her two brothers. She often pushed around sunkit who was the runt. He sat behind her watching to but with his eyes squinted and his front paws tucked under his small body.

Glowkit was sitting beside Goldenkit, he was much more interested in watching his sisters flickering tail then Goldenstripe and her new kits.
"They're beautiful." whiteblaze purred. "What are their names?"
Goldenstripe opened her jaws but was interrupted by a small shriek. Goldenkit pounced on Glowkit and pinned him down. "Mommy please help!" he whimpered. Whiteblaze glared at them.

"What he started it." she replied to their angry glares. "Let your brother free, now! " miley hissed angrily. Goldenkit hissed at her angrily then spat on Glowkit. Sunkit took this as a chance to get on Goldenkit's good side. "That's not fair! He started it!" sunkit agreed.

"Shut up runt." goldenkit grunted. His eyes filled with hurt, then a surprising rage. He muttered something under his breath. Goldenstripe noticed Whiteblaze asked her something. "Er... what was that." she stuttered. "Names! What are their names?"

"Oh, this ones cloudkit. Look at her fluffy coat."she said flicking her tail on the fluffiest female kit. "This is jumpingkit."she said nosing her nose to the last female. "Look at her muscles in her legs she's gonna jump high." she smiled. "And my boy us blazekit. Like you."she pressed her head into whiteblaze's chest.

She could see a wave of envy fill Miley eyes but it was quickly replaced by love. "Whiteblaze, we have another searching patrol and you're on it." maretail called into the nursery. Whiteblaze licked her cheek and left.
Goldenstripe stared after him. She sighed and looked at Miley who was nosing her kits to her stomach so they could suckle. "Hey we both have three kits. Twins."miley laughed.

Goldenstripe smiled and walked to Miley and licked her forehead leaving her kits squealing for her. "Twins!"she repeated. She walked back to her kits curled around them and drifted off to sleep.

Five days had passed and Goldenstripe had gone out of the nursery for fresh air. Miley stayed behind watching the kits. "Fox!" a really young apprentice ,firepaw, was screaming tears were in his eyes as he ran. He crashed into Goldenstripe blood covering his paws. "I tried to stop the bleeding it wouldn't stop!" he wailed like a kit. "She's dead. They both are. Saigeleaf and Rosepaw are dead!" he started crying heavily.

   Rosepaw was his sister she was way to young to die. Saigeleaf was his mentor to young to die too.

   Goldenstripe watched as Foxpelt,his red mother like him, licked him.
"It's here!" he cried running away. "Run!"he screamed as he leaped high into a tree. Clan mates began fleeing as two foxes entered the camp with blood covering their muzzles.

  Goldenstripe rushed into the nursery where Miley and all the kits were dosing. "Fox!" she shouted alarming the kits and Miley. Miley started to panic. "No time to panic get the kits."
she snatched Blazekit and jumpingkit by the scruff.

  Miley grabbed Cloudkit and Glowkit by the scruff to their limp bodies dangling. They forced themselves through the nursery entrance and put their bodies by the tree and clan mates snatched them from her Miley and Goldenstripe returned to the nursery and grabbed the remaining kits carrying them through the entrance and to the trees. She climbed to the top of the tree and watched the foxes try to climb the trees but fail.
They snarled and left tails dropping. A loud quick came and three small bodies fell from the trees. Goldenkit, Glowkit, and Blazekit all lay on the ground trembling in terror as the foxes walked to them. Goldenkit protectively layed on blazekit hiding his small body under hers.

  Goldenstripe never saw her so nice. Goldenstripe jumped from the branch and snarled at the foxes. They jumped at her and a small golden body slammed into the nearest one.

  Miley hissed and ripped into the other ones fur leaving heavy scratches. Goldenstripe heard a loud shrill and turned to see a fox bite Glowkit's neck. Goldenstripe jumped at the fox and ripped his fur.

  Goldenkit dragged blazekit away the tiny kits eyes were still closed. A red shape slammed on her pinning her down it ripped her leaving her heavily bleeding in the entrance.
She painfully turned to see miley smiling at her blood pouring from her. Another yelp came. She whirled her head to see the foxes playing tug a war with Goldenkit and blazekit.
"Goodbye my love!"she shouted to whiteblaze who was frozen with horror. Foxpelt jumped from a branch and snatched Goldenkit away from the foxes who devoured blazekit. A fox snatched foxpelt by her tail as she tried to climb a tree. She fell and they snapped her neck. Flamepaw let out a squeak and started crying.

  Warriors poured from the trees finally out of shock as they fought the foxes. Pretty soon the foxes were gone. One fox lay dead in the clearing. Whiteblaze walked to his mate. "Bye." she whispered before completely blanking out. She awoke in a starry place.

  Blazekit smiled at her. "Welcome to starclan mother." he touched her nose with his. She walked with him to Miley ,Glowkit, Foxpelt, Rosepaw, and Saigeleaf. She walked into darkness not even looking back at her old life.
