Chapter Thirteen: New Warriors

Cloudpaw and Lilacpaw began laughing. Polo rolled in laughter. "And then he said, Hey buddy. Dog got your tongue." Kody laughed.
Cloudpaw burst out laughing. She felt like her side was set on fire. "Ah! Hah! Hah! Hah."
It was two days since Kody asked to stay for a visit. Hailpaw had been sent home thankfully. The clan was finally put together. Except for the cold silence between Jumpingpaw and Cloudpaw.
Cloudpaw was still confused on why her sister was mad at her. She shrugged it off and continued to stare at Kody. Kody stopped laughing and stared at Polo. "So. You trying to catch one?" He asked.
"What?" Polo asked. "You know. Trying to get a girlfriend." Kody mewed.
"A ... Who?"
"Are trying to find a mate." Kody blurted. "Um. . . well I really like this cat."
Lilacpaw lifted her head. "Who?" She asked. "Well -"
"All cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath high rock for a clan meeting." Hushstar called.
The cats gathered around.
"It is time to make three apprentices warriors." Hushstar yowled. "Mistypaw, Polo, and Lilacpaw."
The three apprentices gathered around the rock.
"Polo. You are such a strong and smart cat. You'd do anything to save a clanmates. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code even if it cost your life?" Hushstar asked.
"I do."
"Then, by the power of Starclan I'll give you your warrior name. I understand you don't wanna change your name so I'm just going to say Polo."
The cats chanted.
"Lilacpaw. You are keen and quick. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code even of it cost you life?"
"I do." Lilacpaw purred.
"Then by the power of Starclan I give you your warrior name. Lilacpaw as long as you live, well if you don't become a leader, will be now known as Lilacmist."
Cats chanted her name.
"Mistypaw. You are silently but deadly. You are quick, smart, and strong. Do you promise to uphold the warrior name even if it cost your life?"
"I do."
"Then by the power of Starclan I give you your name. Mistystream."
"Polo! Lilacmist! Mistystream!"
The cats chanted their names. Cloudpaw didn't think anyone chanted Polo's name as loud as Kody.

Well that's over. School is starting again tomorrow so updates will be slower. Ugh! I can't wait until schools out. Thank you guys for reading. 😀
