"Daddy!" Asia shouted running from the school yard into her fathers arms. The weeks had gone by and Marcellus was finally home. I decided to bring him when I went to pick her up instead of having him sitting around the house. Reese had his house cleaned out and sold. All Marcellus and Asia's important things were in a new house. They didn't think it was smart to have his baby mother know where he lived.
"Babygirl" he smiled catching her and spinning her around. Kissing her all over her face, I saw he was trying not to get emotional.
"I missed you so much daddy, please don't leave again" she begged.
"I'm not going anywhere again princess I promise" he mumbled hugging her with his eyes closed. I felt myself getting emotional at the scene and turned around to get in the car.
"Promise?" She asked holding her pinky out.
"I promise" he replied hooking their pinkies together before kissing her forehead. Marcellus put her in her booster seat and got in the passenger seat.
"I'm happy that you're out, Asia helped to decorate y'all house" I chuckled thinking about the pink bed sheet with hearts that she got her his bed. I pulled off and made my way to his new place.
"Where Reese?" He asked as we pulled up to the house shortly.
"He should be on his way over here, come on let's go inside" I said getting out. I gave him the key to unlock the door while I helped Asia get out. Since the car was high up, she always almost fell on her face.
I walked up the driveway and smiled when Marcellus opened the door and everyone yelled welcoming him home. A few of his close boys were there and they brought their kids and girlfriends.
I noticed Marcellus walking up to Reese and before I knew it, he punched him in the face. I handed Asia over the his bestfriends pregnant wife and ran over.
"Stop it" I shouted breaking the fight up. Marcellus was laughing and so was Reese. I frowned wondering what the hell was wrong with the both of them.
"I told you it was on sight when I got out bitch" Marcellus laughed shaking his hand out while Reese flexed his jaw. I stepped when I realized they weren't going to fight again.
"Shut yo bitch ass up" Reese chuckled. I rolled my eyes and noticed Marcellus has a small cut under his brow.
"Why y'all fighting?" I asked not even knowing if I want to know the answer.
