Sun

I looked up

In the morning

I looked up at the sun

I shouldn't have stared

But I did once more

The sun is this giant ball of heat

A flame

So bright

I looked up at the sun

And felt enchanted

I decided

If I am to fall

I want to fall looking at the sun

The sun looked perfect

And I lack the words

To describe its appearance

But the image is still in my mind

It is tattooed there

Deeply engraved

Still ablaze in my mind

I can see it glowing like an everlasting crystal

Brighter than anything I have ever seen

Brighter than anything I will ever see

I want to go down with the sun in my heart

And I want flames

Flames like those of the sun

If the sun has been living so long

If it has been through so much

And seen so much

I'd like to be like the sun

Forever bright

Until gone in an explosion of wonder

Still when the sun is gone

You can still see the sun

From far away

I want to be like the sun

Brighter and more beautiful everyday

I looked up at the sun
