Chapter 7

Its finally morning. A Saturday. The second last "chill" day at the camp before the competitions had to start. From Monday onwards people would get busy with competitions.

*At the Blackpink Dorm*
Should I go. No why would I!?! Hes just a mean jerk that....but he helped me. He's...he's not exactly...ughh!!!
Jisoo: Jennie-ah! Breakfast!
Jennie: Coming!
She replied and stopped thinking as she was starving. At the breakfast table Blackpink members were busy getting together plans for the day and eating....except Jennie
Lisa: Unni. I came up with this little rap section last night. I think it would fit well with that melody you were humming the other day. Like a little bridge section.
Rosé: Oh yah unni! That song you were working on, what was it called again?
Jisoo: Your Last Love. And yah I think a rap section would work!
Lisa: The song is a bit upbeat for to be called Your Last Love isn't it? How about As if its you Last Love?
Jennie unni? What say?

Jennie was completely in her own world. Wrapped around with her own thoughts.
Rosé: Unni...? Unni!!
Jennie: Wae?!
Jennie snapped back completely startled
Jisoo: Jennie-ah we're talking about the melody I've been working on. We're gonna do some more with it today. You coming?
Jennie was in confusion now. Say yes and go help my girls like I should? Or make an excuse and say I have something....ughh what should I...
Jennie: Ani unni. I was gonna go down to the beach for some inspiration for a slower song. You guys are all working on that one so I thought maybe I should get started on something new. It'll save time too🙂
Jennie suddenly found herself lying and making an excuse before she was even sure why. She gave a fake smile and went to her room.
Jennie: Aish! Wae?!! Why did I just do that?!!😫😓

*At the music hall*
Taehyung played his guitar alone in the empty room. All the other idols were busy playing around enjoying their last couple days of worry free life. Taehyung meanwhile focused on his new song so he could finally have something to call his own. He didn't think Jennie would come after how she left yesterday....but he secretly hoped she would.
Taehyung: Ugh. Whats happened to me..why am I acting like this?! Grieving over a girl who I barely know!
Just then
*knock knock*
Jennie: Can I come in?
Taehyung was shocked to see her all of a sudden. But happy nonetheless.
Taehyung: Jennie?😳
Jennie: Wae? You changed your mind? Ok. I'll leave.
Taehyung: NO! Wait! I didn't mean that
Jennie: Look I only cane to talk about your bandmates. They are constantly messing with us! I don't know what we did but you need to tell them to stop!
Taehyung: You scared already?😏
Jennie: Listen! I didnt come to...

Oppa!!

Jennie and Taehyung both turned around
It was Irene from Red Velvet
Irene: Oppa!! Aigoo!! I missed you so much!!
Jennie suddenly felt shocked. She thought Taehyung felt sorry and so he invited her away from his bandmates to the main music building. She thought he had been nice enough to her for her to sternly tell him to tell BTS to stop bothering Blackpink memebers. But she suddenly realized how wrong she was. It was a pitty date. She had thought about him all night and he only invited her take get rid of his own guilt.
She felt stupid and embarrassed...
Irene: OPPA! I miss you so much and you always ignore me!
Taehyung: Haha. Aigoo Irene I miss you too
Irene: looking at Jennie- who is she?!😒
Taehyung: Oh her? She's just..umm..
Jennie: Nobody! I just came to say something and now im leaving
Irene: Well good! Don't even think about stealing my oppa!
Taehyung: Irene...she just...
It was too late. Jennie felt humiliated more than ever! She realized it was her mistake. She shoudve listened to her unni and not come here today.

But why did it feel like she had gotten cheated on..? She didnt even like Taehyung...but it felt like she had just caught herself being rejected...by someone she liked...what was this feeling..?
