Amelia's P.O.V

I was currently getting ready for lunch with Logan. I felt nervous but I don't know why. I mean it's not like it's a date, right? Oh god! What if he thinks this is a date? Don't get me wrong he's cute and he seems really nice but I'm not ready for a relationship yet. I just can't do that to Alex. He's gone but I can't move on just yet. Deep down I know he would want me to be happy, and that means with or without him. Whatever, it's not a date. We're going as friends. Only friends. I had settled for a casual outfit. I had posted a picture on my Instagram a few minutes ago. I wasn't really nervous anymore. I was excited to meet him and become better friends with him. Eventually meet his brother. It's about 12:28 at the moment and Logan texted me saying he's outside. I grabbed my purse and put my phone in my purse and headed downstairs.

I found Logan resting against his car waiting for me. Damn, he looks better in person. Once he noticed me staring at him I walked up to him.

"Hey Logan" I said.

"Hey Amelia"

He opened the door for me like a gentleman and I said thank you. We had small talk in the car about where we were going. We arrived at this nice little restaurant and got a table.

"So Amelia tell me about yourself"

"What would you like to know?"

"Where did you move from?"

"I used to live in Chicago, Where did you and your brother move from?"

"Ohio, Who are Lexi and Evelyn?"

"They're my best friends from Chicago but they moved out to L.A about a year ago. What's your brothers name?"

"It's Jake he's 20 years old and he has his own like "group" called team 10. You should look them up because they have a YouTube channel"

We continued to talk for about an hour later just asking each other questions to get to know each other. I'm surprised he didn't ask me about last relationships. I wasn't ready to tell him about Alex. I wasn't really ready to talk about Alex to anyone. We both vlogged a little. Then we payed for our food and it was already 3pm. We were currently on our way to an arcade to hang out.

"Hey do you mind if my brother Jake and his friend Anthony join us?"

"Sure could I invite Lexi and Evelyn?"

"Yeah we'll all meet up there."

I texted the girls and they said they would meet us in a few minutes. I have a feeling tonight is going to be fun. It's kinda the first time I've been out since Alex died. Not even my girls could get me out of the house. A few minutes later we arrived at the arcade and I saw Lexi and Evelyn waiting for us outside. I also saw two others boys waiting outside. It's probably Jake and Anthony. We stepped out of the car and headed over to them. After we introduced everyone to each other we headed inside. Jake asked me if I wanted to go play a game with him so we departed from the group.

"How did you meet Lexi and Evelyn?"

"We all used to work at a cafe back in Chicago but then they both moved out here about a year ago"

"Why didn't you go with them?"

"I just wanted to stay in Chicago for a little while longer"

"How old are they?"

"Lexi is 24 and Evelyn is 18"

"They both seem really nice"

"How did you meet Anthony?"

"We met each other when we we teenagers"

"How old is he?"

"He's 21"

"Logan told me you have a group called team ten?"

"Yeah it's me and a group of my friends. You should meet Tessa and Erika. Tessa's 18 and Erika is 23"

"Yeah we should set up a day where we all hangout together"

"Yeah that's a great idea"

We stayed at the arcade until about 5:30 and we headed to the beach. We were gonna watch the sunset. God, I love sunsets. I haven't been to the beach to see the sunset. Maybe I was avoiding it because it would be my first time going without Alex. Seeing the sunset was my thing before I met him but then it became our thing. When we got there the girls pulled me aside. The boys walked off and told us to come find them when we were done.

"What's up?"

"Oh my god Amelia! Anthony is so cute!"

"I totally ship Lexi and Anthony!"

"Oh shut up Evelyn I know you ink Jake is cute!"

"Awe I ship both! Lexi, Anthony seems like a great guy. Evelyn, Jake is so sweet and he was asking me about you earlier"

"Jake asked about me?"

"Yeah"

We all started laughing and walked towards the boys. We sat down on the sand, enjoying the view. The sound of the waves were so calming and having my feet in the sand felt so relaxing. I missed this a lot. We watched he sunset and took a few pictures for Instagram. I got some vlog footage at the beach. After that we went home and said our goodbyes. I walked into my apartment and headed for my bathroom. I took a shower and brushed my teeth. Then I laid down in my bed and posted a picture on Instagram. After that I shut off my phone and edited today's vlog. When I finished with that I went to sleep.
