~The First Letter~

~One Month Before the Wedding~

Amelia's pov

I was getting the mail this morning and I found a certain letter. It was addressed to me and it was from someone extremely surprising.

I took the mail inside and put it on the kitchen counter. Then I called in Logan so he could get his mail. When he came down he took his mail. I told him I was going to sit on the front porch.

I walked out the front door and sat on my chair. I opened the letter and started to read it.

There is no way this is even possible. I felt like my heart had been shattered all over again just reading who it was from. It was from Alex

I don't understand any of this. I know for a fact it's him because of the handwriting and the way he signed off.

I just don't get it. How in the world is this even possible. It's been over a year!

If he is alive why did he keep it from me this whole time?

Did he even think about how this would affect me?

Did he even think of how I would feel?

We had been together for two years. Two fucking years! Then I go to get fucking food or water for him in the hospital and when I come back he's dead.

Why would he do this to me? How could he do this to me? To us?

How the hell am I supposed to tell Logan? Do I tell Logan? He needs to know right? Or does he?

I don't know what to do. I have to write him back. I can't just ignore it.

Why did he have to do it now? I mean for heavens sake! I'm getting married in a month!

I don't even know what to do anymore.
