Together forever, you and I will make it through anything.
"Tee...Tee...Tee...Tee!"
Air quickly drove into my longs as I gasped and sat up straight. Once I was upright, pain, nothing but pain filled my head and mostly shot in my forehead.
"Easy there," Tae groans and held his head in his hand.
I shift my eyes around, figuring out my surrounding- Tae's car. Wait, why am I in here? I thought that I was at home, at the front door, about to go in and confront Mom and Dad. Not here in Tae's car for christ's sake. None of the thoughts that are trying to process through my head are making any sense.
"Why am I here again?" I ask still looking around, avoiding Tae's presence.
"Well..."Tae started off, but began to take a pause. As he's still taking his pause, I look over at him, glaring daggers at his way."... you kind of fainted at the front door.
"I what?!"
That doesn't make any sense. How could I have fainted before stepping inside the house? Before opening the door? Why did I do that? Sure, maybe I was nervous but not so much that I could faint! just thinking that I've passed out brings tears to my eyes and my stomach churn in disgust.
"You fainted," Tae repeats, "so, I brought you back to the car and you've only been out for a couple of minutes. Mom and Dad came out to see who all the noise was, but they didn't see us. So we're all good.
I nod and take in everything Tae just explained, although it isn't a whole lot of information, it's at least calming me down.
"So, what do you want to do now?" Tae asks softly while rubbing my arm gently.
"Come inside with me. I want to get my stuff and leave."
"Sounds more like a plan," He smirks and helps me out of his car.
Now that Tae is going to be with me, I'm not as scared, anymore. I don't feel as nervous or petrified. I feel good. I feel confident.
Once again, we're at the front door of the house. Without hesitation, I turn the knob, Tae and I step through with our hands laced together. This is finally the big moment.
No backing out now. Period.
"Boys," Mom yelled appalled. "You know that this behaviour you two are pulling off is not permitted in this household!"
"Where were you, Tee?" Dad glares at me. "Sneaking out with your brother? Hmm? That will not be allowed if you are living here, our house, our rules."
The anger and frustration that has been building up inside me feels like it's about to be let loose, "Stop it," I growl and hold Tae's hand tighter. "I understand you guys don't like this, and that's okay." I take a deep breath and calmly walk to my room with Tae. "I'm going to be leaving, anyway. No more worries."
"I don't think so!" Mom yells again and jogs over to us, but we caught her by a second by getting into the bedroom and shutting the door in her face.
Tae leans against the door, using all of his strength to keep Mom and Dad from coming in. "Take all the essentials, and hurry up."
Nodding, I get my shoulder bag and stuff most of my clothing in it. Since all of Tae's clothes are in the apartment, it's easier to get everything I need in the bag a lot quicker. I look back at our bed, debating if I should dig out my journal, lighter, and blade and stuff them in my bag as well. What if I do need them in the mid future? Although... I have been so good and so happy... for now.
"Tee," I hastily look away from the bed and to Tae. "Let's go through the window."
Looking over at the window, the frame is still open like how I left it. This is an easy break out and Mom and Dad wouldn't be able to get us as quick as they think they would. This plan is actually working.
"Alright, you go first, go straight to the car, and I'll meet you in there in thirty seconds, got it?" Tae says quietly so his voice couldn't be heard through the door. Besides, I wouldn't think he would be heard since Mom and Dad keep on screaming and yelling and pleading to get to us.
I nod again, and jump out to the window. Without thinking, I look back inside, forgetting Tae's commands and look at how he's holding up from all the pleasure against the door. He's beginning to struggle, his face getting red, veins are bulging through his arms. I hope he isn't in any pain because of me... since this was my idea from the beginning.
About thirty seconds have passed and it completely spaced my mind that I was supposed to run to Tae's car and wait for him to show up. I stay standing still, not sure ig I should wait for Tae or just run. My legs won't move. I can't leave Tae at this state. I should just wait until he jumps out from the window and we can run to the car together. No harm no foul.
Tae pushes himself away from the door and to the window. Just as he jumped out, Mom and Dad barged through the door, looking enraged as ever.
"Tee," Tae huffs and grabs my arm, pulling me along with him, "Why didn't you wait in the car?!"
"Ss..So..Sorry," I breath as we keep running across the lawn to his car.
Before I even knew it, we're sitting in his car, driving down the road to the apartment complex. Of course, I heard the occasional yelling and screaming to go back from Mom and Dad, but he never turned our heads.
We drove silence. Tae had his eyes squinted at the road as he drove. I looked away from him, eyeing down my shoulder bag that sits on my lap. I'm not sure why, but I feel nervous to talk to Tae. He could be mad at me for not obeying his orders. Or, maybe he's just tired and wants to get home as soon as possible.
"You're very brave," Tae mutters straightforward, breaking my train of thought. I swear when I heard his quiet, delicate voice, my heart skipped a beat, worrying if I had made him angry.
"Wh..What?"
"Going in there, standing up to Mom and Dad, you're very brave. I'm proud of you."
He parked the car in the apartment lot. Once he didi that, we both looked at each other. I can't recall Tae ever saying that he was ever proud of me for doing anything. Hearing him say that to me makes me feel invincible.
Without replying, I lean over the seat, pull him by the shirt, and plant a kiss on his lips. That's my response for him. No words can compare to how much passion I'm putting through this kiss as our lips stay locked together.
We pull away, smiling at one another. "How can I repay you for helping me?"
"I think my bed works," Tae winks and gets out of the car.
"Of course," I mutter with a shy smile appeared on my face as I follow him into the apartment.
To be continue...
