It was an average Sunday morning. Birds were chirping and the trees sparkled with anticipation as a new day began.

Johnny was currently skipping happily down the street, ready to attend church for his weekly lectures. His large, solid afro glistened in the morning sun as if Jesus was shining his light onto the boy('s hair). The heels of his beautifully polished black shoes clicked against the pavement. His navy blue polo shirt smelling of fresh daisies in the crisp morning breeze.

The fabric of each knee of his trousers brushed against each other. His shirt hung off of his chest, waving in the wind, as he was so dangerously skinny. Sighing lightly, he tucked his shirt back into his jeans, wanting to look as formal as possible.

Suddenly, as he reached the church, the screams of a helicopter echoed through the street. The expensive machinery landed in front of him, causing him to fall to his knees. A short boy, of about 4'4 hopped out of the plane, snarling at his parents, who were not attending church for a business trip. He felt disappointed in them.

As Johnny brought himself back to his feet, his large, monstrous afro banged into the helicopter, causing it to fly at least 5 miles West. Joseph, the shorter boy, stared up at Johnny with a devastated look on his face. "Johnny.. you can't keep doing this! This is the fifth helicopter you've wrecked! My dad's gonna start getting angry, the lord would not be pleased about this pollution. I only have 25 left, you bible-beater!"

Joseph flicked Johnny's chest, turning to walk into church, his holy guide to life gripped in his right hand. Johnny followed suit, as accidental destruction was no unusual occurrence.

Inside the church, the boys wandered around aimlessly, looking for the pastor to begin his teachings. "So.. Joseph, how's Samantha?" Johnny asked politely. "Oh, her? Oh, no, no, I dumped her two days ago. I date Jolene now. I really feel like she's the one." Joseph sighed, looking upwards as if day dreaming of his girlfriend. "But.. Joseph.. that's what you said about Bethany! And you dumped her 2 weeks ago!" Johnny said casually.

"Yeah.. well people change, Johnny.. you wouldn't know." He spoke, with tears rimming his black eyes, that contrasted the pure soul of Jesus Christ. "Then why did you dump Samantha?" Johnny asked. "Oh, she wasn't baptised! Can you believe trying to praise the lord with all that sin? Unacceptable." Joseph tutted, crossing his arms.

"Okay.. have you seen the pastor? We've been walking around for ages now!" Johnny huffed. "He might be in here.." Joseph pandered, walking through the narrow doorway to the pastor's room. There, sat many Jesus figurines and pictures of the Holy Ghost, including a 'collect them all' holy set, with an extra rare golden Jesus in a glass case surrounded by lasers.

"Joseph! You know I can't fit through this door! Don't make me punch you with my afro!" Johnny exclaimed, pointing a finger to his afro. "You wouldn't do such in the house of the lord!" Joseph smirked, standing eagerly in front of the doorway. Johnny rolled his eyes and turned slowly, attempting to shimmy through the door.

Little did he know, his attempts were in vain. He slipped instantly and bashed his head off of the wooden floor, yet, did not get injured, as his afro acted as protection. However, as his afro hit the wall in front of him, it smashed through a secret door. It was perfectly blended in with the bland wall and no one had any idea that it was there. Joseph placed his hands in his pockets and sighed, tucking away his bible. "Quit being a God-botherer and look where you're going, before you see something you'll regret."

"Check it out!" Johnny excitedly pointed through the door, that was newly cracked in half by his voluminous afro. "That's the something you'll regret seeing. C'mon. We need to pray." Joseph grabbed the large 6'3 boy by the collar and attempted to drag him back through the door, failing miserably.
