"Joe.. I'm bored! When are we leaving?" Johnny moaned, wielding Lake Saldmi's classic broom. Lake was on a day off, so Pastor Smith had forced Joe and Johnny into doing extra duties around the church.

"Johnny for the love of God, I don't know. Just keep sweeping. I know it's getting fairly late, but that doesn't matter. What matters is that we get all this cleaning done." Joseph held a dustpan and brush in his hand, standing briefly before continuing to sweep the main hallway of the church.

"Has your dad not texted yet? He sure is taking his time! I need to know when he's picking you up so that I can tell my parents when to pick me up. I'm not staying here alone when you're gone." Johnny smiled towards him, making him sigh. "Look, I know he's taking his time. Just shut up and keep working. Smith better be paying me for this.." Joe rolled his eyes.

"Woah! Joseph, did you hear that?" Johnny asked, concerned. What sounded like thunder was sounding out in the street outside. "Shit." Joseph dashed to the front doors, looking out into the rain. "Son of a bitch!" He glared down at his brand new Nokia flip phone, seeing a text from Daniel. 'Can't pick you up, raining lol'.

"Oh, no! What are we gonna do, Joe?" Johnny asked, looking down at his friend. "Guess we're staying over night." He shrugged, turning back around to walk down the hallway.

"Ah! Can we go and see the Kid-Mafia?" Johnny asked. "What? Hell no! Those psychopaths? I understand you got along with them when I 'ditched' you last Sunday or whatever, but that doesn't mean you can trust them! Idiot." Joseph crossed his arms after throwing the dustpan and brush at the wall.

"They have beanbags!"

".. Leave the broom here."

Polly placed down the blue beanbag, forcing Joseph and Johnny to share it. "We only have one spare!" She insisted, shrugging. The rest of the kids were sat around the table doing various things. Dan and Neil were playing snap with some cards they'd found in a closet, while Luceil and Jingil were gossiping about Polly.

"How're you, Johnny? Good to see you two are friends again." Polly smiled. "I'm good! Don't sweat it, he'd never admit that he actually abandoned me anyways." He rolled his eyes as she laughed. Joseph slowly walked over to join Dan and Neil. "So.. you two are the men here. Since we're the only men in the room I thought I'd join you." Joseph sent a glare at Johnny who was still chatting to Polly.

"We're playing snap." Daneil explained, throwing down another card. "You ever heard of snap?" Neil added on, adding another card to the pile. Each card had a different animal on it, but some cards were identical, allowing them to play snap with them. "Obviously I've heard of snap, idiot." Joseph snarled, taking the pile of cards and switching them up.

"We're starting again." He declared. Eventually, he dealt out all of the cards and the game began. First was a card with a dog on it. Next, a cat, and then a parrot. "Snap!" Joseph yelled, placing down another identical card and taking the pile. "Y'all a bunch of finna squares." He scoffed.

"Guys! Get over here!" Polly called everyone around the table. Joseph trudged over to sit with Johnny on their shared beanbag. "It's time for our regular lectures." Polly placed down the projector. "It's like.. 9 o'clock! Why do we still have to do our shitty lectures? Lets just relax.. sit back.. and-"

"Tell ghost stories!" Luceil cut off Daneil, startling the others. She placed a flashlight beneath her chin and began to laugh menially. "Luceil!" Polly yelled, hands on hips. "Put the flashlight down before you get burnt again!"

"I'll start." Joseph ripped the flashlight from Luceil's hands and cleared his throat.

"Once, I was in the toilets down the hall. This was only.. like.. a few weeks ago. Anyways, I was inside one of the two cubicles and I heard the door to the other open. I knew well there was no one else in that bathroom at the time, though. After that the sink came on and shortly after, the hand dryer. I was freaked, so I stayed put.
