It was the next Sunday morning, birds where chirping, police car sirens were screaming and little kids were smacking each other with cardboard swords.
Johnny was making his way down to church. It was just an average day, nothing too special about it except the fact that it was none other than God's day. Johnny was excited. He was always excited, but he was more excited than he was the previous week. Mostly because he wasn't infected with Copeland's Disease anymore. After a long week of on and off visits to the hospital, he was finally free to roam the streets.
As he walked, he couldn't help but notice a helicopter landing in front of him. It was Joseph.
"Kay.. bye mom.. oh, Johnny, you're out of the hospital?" Joseph asked as he clambered out of his helicopter. Johnny sighed and nodded sarcastically. "Yeah, you can stop avoiding me now, I'm completely clean. No yellow spots whatsoever." He smiled brightly. Joseph smirked and nodded, waving his parents goodbye as he walked into the church with his tree-like best friend.
They paced the hallways aimlessly for a while until Smith eventually ran out of the main hall, holding billions of leaflets. "Guys, guys! We're having a national Christian meeting with all the high ranked pastors and.. it's being held in the Heaux Mansion! You know.. cause they've got like 9 million Jesus statues.." Smith said with a large smile on his face.
"Oh.. really? My house? It.. it just had to be my house. Plot convenience." Joseph sighed. He then looked down to find that Smith was holding a thick, black suitcase. As if out of nowhere, Lake Saldmi seemed to appear behind the man, also holding a black suitcase.
"You what? Why the suitcases?" Johnny asked, pointing to them. "Oh! Well, you see, our duties as true Christians never truly end. We're always busy, and this is kinda like a business trip. We're staying there for three days.. it's like a long party! Except.. a lot more stressful, and probably for only minimum wage." Smith muttered before clearing his throat. "Yeah! All fun, really." He added quickly.
Suddenly, George Bush appeared almost out of thin air and joined in the conversation. Smith stared at him in shock before brushing it off. Next, his trusty steed Combaticus appeared in the same fashion, once more shocking the others.
Next, it was Daniel. "Dad?" Joseph questioned, having not seen him walk over at all. "Oh, hey Johnny." Polly greeted the boy, having also just randomly appeared. "WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?" Smith asked in concern. The Kid-Mafia all exchanged concerned looks. "Eh.. well, I'm Polly, that's Jingil, that's Neil and Daneil, and that's Luceil." Polly spoke awkwardly. Smith never knew that the group of orphans lived in his basement, but no one asked any questions.
"I mean.. I mean you have met us before. Last week.. we've been living in your basement for a pretty long time! Ring any bells?" Polly asked, rubbing the back of her neck and looking away. There was silence as Smith began to process the information handed to him.
At the thought of it, he fainted, landing swiftly on Lake's cushion-like beard. "Uh.. let's get going, yeah?" Lake let go of Smith and dragged him along the floor and out of the church. When the gang reached the private jet parked conveniently outside, they were greeted by luxury service. Wine and bread, true Christian meals where only what was served on Joseph's private jet.
Not to mention that all of his flight staff were hot, attractive teenage girls, just to please Joseph himself, despite having multiple girlfriends. "All aboard!" Johnny placed a captain's hat atop his voluminous afro and ushered the others onto the jet. "Now, now! We don't have all day!" He smiled as he helped the Kid-Mafia into the jet.
"Ah, and for you, m'lady, only the finest of seats." Johnny helped up Polly and pointed to a sofa over in the back. It had white and cream coloured cushions and looked expensive. "Uh.. thanks, Johnny." Polly smiled awkwardly and made her way over to the sofa, sitting down and pulling out a packet of snap cards.
