❝ ALIEN PRINCESS. ❞CHAPTER FOUR.
"What are you doing in my ship?" The voice asked harshly, and the group screamed in absolute terror as two figures emerged from the shadows. A bark sounded from behind them, and Tweetie ran back into Finn's arms.
The woman in front of them held herself confidently, yet her eyes were dark as if a storm was passing. She looked ordinary, besides the light pink marks etched on her cheeks and the futuristic clothes she wore.
A man stepped in front of her protectively, his whole posture screaming about a deep sadness. He held the same marks as the girl, his a nice blue instead of the pastel pink. His clothes matched hers in the futuristic style, making the five friends uneasy. Really, the only thing human about the two were their hair and skin colors.
"Well, answer me!" The woman was irritated, and she obviously didn't want to deal with them at the moment. The shouting did not help though, for they stepped closer to one another and leaned away from the strangers. Rowan seemed to remember his fears, his breathing picking up and his hands trembling.
"I'm sure they mean no harm, Princess Allura," the man offered, despite the fact that his protective stance didn't falter. "They look like harmless humans."
The five watched the two, before Lia spoke up, her voice shakey. "Are— are you guys... aliens?"
"You're the aliens to us," the woman, presumably Princess Allura, snapped. She suddenly realized her faults, and closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened them back up the sadness had engulfed her, and her features soon matched that of the man. "Ah, forgive me. This castle was made to be a welcoming and hospitable place, I should treat it as such."
"You are on our planet, after all," Chayse mumbled, and Miles punched her in the shoulder.
"I'm Princess Allura of Altea, and this is Coran," they both waved, offering slight smiles before they fell again.
"Wait, stop," Finn ordered. "I still haven't wrapped my head around the whole alien thing." Allura frowned, tears filling her eyes.
"The Paladins accepted this all much more quickly when we met them."
"Paladins?" Rowan questioned. His voice had evened out, and the comfort of his friends had eased his anxiety until it would rear its ugly head again. Allura brought a hand to her mouth, a small sob being released as she turned away. Coran placed a loving hand on her shoulder, before looking to the humans.
