Chapter 40

~Daniels pov~

I hug Lia,watching Zach walk away.She opens her mouth and says half a word before I shush her.I turn her around and take her towards out house.Leading her upstairs,I let her lay down on my bed.

On my way downstairs I bump into Zach,giving him an encouraging look before skipping the last four steps and jumping to the floor.

~Zach's pov~

I push the door open slowly,holding my breath.The light on Lia's face showed that she was asleep.I slowly walk over to her and push a strand of hair away from her face before leaning down and planting a kiss on her forehead and cheek.

Zach:Goodnight princess,sweer dreams.It's so hard to-to tell you how much I like you.I hate the fact that I can't be with you

~Lia's pov~

I lay there, staring at the ceiling, thinking about everything that happened in the last hour.My eyes roam around the room as I toss and turn, kick and pull.I hold my breath when the door opens.Quickly shutting my eyes and calming my breathing I 'fell asleep'.

I open my eyes a little, surprised when I see Zach.I close my eyes agin when he comes closer.I feel him sit next to me.The butterflies in my stomach doing some somersault-based routine when he pulls a strand of hair way from my face and kisses me on my forehead before giving me a small peck on the cheek.

Zach:Goodnight princess,sweer dreams.It's so hard to-to tell you how much I like you.I hate the fact that I can't be with you

When Zach leaves the room I feel a pang in my chest.

Lia:For a second there I felt like you were going to tell everyone how amazing you are

Interviewer:Well yes I am pretty amazing

Lia:Of course you are!

Interviewer:Stop it, no,seriously stop, we need to get this interview started

Lia:Yeah,let us get this interview started

Interviewer:First can I ask how does it feel?You know all the fans, fan accounts, fan art

Lia:It's amazing, like seriously I can't thank you guys enough

Interviewer:I mean it probably is, whats your biggest fear?

Lia:I'm scared of heights,vomit-nahh I'm not but like I am scared of vomit.If I'm being honest, my biggest fear is watching someone I love leave me.

~Alex's pov~

I sigh,getting out of bed and tying up my hair before going downstairs and eating something.Tiptoeing into the living room I pick up the empty bottles of beer that were scattered around on the floor and threw them in the bin.I clean my mothers face with a tissue before braiding her hair for her.I fix a pillow beneath her head and escape to IKEA.

A short shift later I drive back, admiring my mums new car that was parked in the driveway.I push the door open,placing a box down on the floor.

Mum:Where have you been?

Alex:I was at work mum

Mum:Work my ass,you've been with boys haven't you

Alex:No mum, of course not

Mum:Stop lying you-you little bitch!

She storms towards me.That's my cue.I pick up the box and run upstairs.Slamming my room door shut, locking it before leaning against it.
