Just To See You Smile

Chapter 35

I look around my room which had been completed while Aileen and I went out to eat.We were blogging the whole day.

Lia: Okay so I'm guessing you need furniture for your room so where do you want to go?

Aileen: IKEA!

We drove to IKEA thanks to Aileen's ability to drive and Cassandra's car.We parked in a spot we had found after an unusually long time.We waled into IKEA, both of us grabbing two strips of measuring tape (those 1m long ones) and started twisting them together.We run in around the maze, going straight to the bed section.

Lia: Why did we come here in the first place?

I asked when we couldn't find any bed we liked.

Aileen: I don't know

I heard Aileen calling me over so I ran to where I heard her voice coming from.I bump into someone, who I quickly apologized to before running away.Aileen was standing in front of a baby pink desk and chair with a white beds white rug in front of it with two beige bean bags resting on top.A photo frame hung on the wall with fairy lights under it.And a lonely white closet in the corner.

Lia: This is kinda beautiful

Aileen: Can I buy the whole room?

Lia: Sure, I mean why not?

An employee walked over to us, seeing we were interested in the room.

Employee: Can I help you?

Lia: Yeah, can we buy everything in this room?

Employee: Sure, why not?

The woman who was in her young twenties walked over to a desk close by and grabbed a piece of paper and a pen and started writing down the names of furniture and decorations on to the piece of paper.I peered down at the Swedish writing and shrugged.Aileen asked the employee some questions.She was now leading us to the chairs section.Aileen got two blue swivel chairs for kids and aa hammock chair (or hanging chair) with a big baby pink cushion on it.

Once Aileen was satisfied with everything we started writing down the names of couches and carpets.We wrote the names of couches and carpets, continuing with a center table and a TV table.

Aileen: Shhhh

We moved on to the kitchen part , putting pots and pans into our carts.Then cutlery and glasses (glass glasses to drink water out of).We put in some storage boxes and stuff before moving on to the bathroom stuff.We put in some shower curtains before getting interrupted.

Aileen: Oh shoot, what happened to the list of things in Swedish

Lia: I have it!

I set the camera down on the shelf while Aileen and I danced to nothing.I picked up the camera and beamed into it.

Lia: I'm going to add music into that later

We picked up another list as the last two were full.

Aileen: We need a dining table

We ended up choosing a dining table with six chairs and a showcase.We got a bookcase for show.When we were done with all that we moved on to vases and napkin holders.

We handed our list to the same employee who smiled at our list.She raised an eyebrow.

Employee: I'm Alex, you buying a house load of things.

She eyed our shopping carts behind us.

Lia: Yeah, we kinda bought a house

Alex: I'll pass this on to another employee who will get these pieces of furniture down for you, just write you full name and phone number.
