Trapped

HOSHIZORA
Hoshizora smiled slightly, touching her forehead lightly as she sat there on the grass, waiting patiently. It had been a week since Kakashi left for him mission. Feeling worried and almost sad Hoshizora waited patiently for him to return like she normally did, watching the sun rise she closed her eyes, trying to focus on her chakra again, occasionally she would practise, even though she didn't like practising by herself.

By sunset she was sitting alone still, it had been 3 days past the week he said he'd be gone, it was worrying her. With her ears folded back she whimpered at the thought of him not coming home. He was her best friend, the only one who truly knew her and wanted to see her daily. She didn't know much about him, but she wanted to know more. She could explain the feelings she felt. Seeing a shadow touch hers she looked up to Minato with a solemn expression. Jumping up she went to the barrier with a surprised expression,
"Hosizora?" He asked, she nodded.
"....wh..where's ..Kakashi..?" She asked softly. Her eyes full of curiosity, Minato looked away from her.
"He's in the hospital with rin" Minato stated.
"...o..obito?" She asked. Minato shook his head. Scared now she took a step back. Kakashi had warned her about this, that when a ninja doesn't come home, they may as well be dead or missing.. And with Minato not saying obito's name when she asked where they were.. It frightened her.. Beyond anything that ever had. Her body shaking.. Was this.. Really true? Had she already lost a friend? Was it because of her? Her emotions tearing her apart she sat down on the ground, shaking, terrified..

KAKASHI
he stated up at the white ceiling, not saying a word. He hated himself, for letting obito die, to leave his comrade behind with out doing anything to help. If he hadn't been so selfish and stubborn and gown with him earlier! He wouldn't be here right now.. He wouldn't be feeling so hopeless and guilty about this. Hearing a knock at the door, he turned away from the door and grimaced at the wall.
"Kakashi.." Minato's voice began, "I want you to check up on your friend.. She's not taking the news very well and blatantly is blaming herself" Minato whispered. Kakashi glared at the walls.
"Why should I. She isn't even apart of this, she didn't even know him." Kakashi commented coldly. Minato look at the boy shocked.

It hurt, why did it hurt to talk like Hoshizora in that way? She wasn't even apart of the team, she barely even knew him. Why would she even feel any sadness. Why did it hurt so much to even think of her being alone up there trapped, growling Kakashi got up, he had to check up on rin first, that was his promise. His last promise to obito.. To protect rin, to keel her safe. He didn't say a word about Hoshizora, but he was going too.,Kakashi knew that. Going over to rin, the thought of Hoshizora left his mind completely.

HOSHIZORA.
tears falling she curled up into a ball on her side, it was dawn, she hadn't slept.. Hearing that obito was.., she couldn't imagine the toll it took on her friends. But she wished she could see Kakashi and rin, to comfort them. But she couldn't, hands on the barrier she whimpered loudly at the thought of them being alone. She figured that Kakashi would forget, it hurt to know that he would. But, he was going through something tough, it was okay for him to forget about her.. Right?

Walking to the tree's she grabbed the blanket he left for her on the first night he stayed with her. Snuggling up underneath it she closed her eyes and tried to get some sleep, pulling the blanket over her head she desperately tried to sleep, even for 5 minutes. Yet she couldn't, she was stuck worrying about Kakashi and rin.. And how they were coping.
