"We need to get in contact with the Sheriff!" Derek growled as soon as they were out of the house.

Malia who didn't know Melissa as well as everybody else asked hesitantly "Why?-"

"If Scott killed his mother on a whim then what the hell do you think Stiles is going to do to the Sheriff!" Derek snapped.

"I can't-" Lydia said shakily, cutting herself off, I can't deal with this!

Derek softened as he looked at Lydia, she knew Melissa and Scott the most after all.

"I know but we need to stay focused or another life will be lost, I'm sorry. You have the Sheriff's phone number right?"

Lydia nodded shakily, handing Derek her phone.

He quickly called up the Sheriff, knowing as soon as the Sheriff heard his voice he'd know it was urgent, he didn't call up often.

Stiles father picked up on the second call.

"Lydia-?"

"It's me" Derek said simply.

The Sheriff's voice instantly changed, becoming more alert "What's going on?"

"Where are you?" Derek asked quickly, not really wanting to get into the your- son-is-evil talk yet.

"I've just got to the school, there's been a call of alarm there" He replied.

"But it won't be open at this time" Derek said hesitantly.

"I know, that's why we are investigating, just about to anyway"

Derek glanced at the pack as he said "Listen, don't-"

Then suddenly the phone crackled and cut off.

"Sheriff?" Derek asked.

No one replied.

"We've got to get to the school!" He growled.

"What happened?" Lydia asked.

"It cut off, someone messed with the phone" Derek replied heatedly.

Kira's eyes widened as she remembered something "Wait... Stiles is basically a Kitsune now... he told me he was good with electricity and made the lights flash on and of?!"

"You think this couñf be him?" Derek asked skeptically.

"I-I don't know but he said he had nice tails, he's very powerful Kitsune. If he could do that to the lights then surely he could mess with phone signals right?"

"Whatever the case, we need to get to the school, who knows how much danger the Sheriff is in!" Malia cried, trying to hurrying everyone.

They all agreed, glancing at each other before they started to run...

They were in this together.

Meanwhile the Sheriff frowned, worried at the panic in Derek's voice but at the end of the day he had a job to do.

Like usual he entered the school first, calling out "Hello?"

There was no reply for a while but then the lights started to flicker, before switching on.

Revealing someone standing at the end of the corridor.

The Sheriff blinked surprised "Stiles?"

Stiles smiled slowly "Hi, dad"

Back at Scott's house, he watched them run away through the window, probably heading to the school.

He also smiled.

Their plan had started and it was going perfectly.
