Lydia shook her head, staring at Stiles, she took a step towards him only to stop herself when Derek grabbed her arm.
She didn't expect his expression or his question which stopped her in her tracks.
"Lydia! Where's Scott?"
They all tensed, noticing they had all been paying attention to Stiles who had looked the most dangerous out of the two to notice that Scott was gone.
"Mmm, I was wondering when you'd notice but I guess you're not that smart after all Lydia" Stiles said, his eyes flashing silver with cruelty.
Then she realised...
Then she knew...
Who else was missing.
Her eyes widened in shock and desperate fear.
"Where is she?!"
She had just been with them, seconds ago.
"Where is Kira?! Stiles?!"
Stiles only said chuckling "You'll find out soon enough Banshee"
Lydia paled drastically, reading in between the lines.
"Where am I?! What did you do?!" Kira shouted, trying to put on a brave front and keep the terror from showing.
She was in a familiar looking classroom and red eyes were watching her from the corner.
"I thought this might be better after all, no one getting in the way" Scott said simply.
He slowly reached out and flicked on the switch, the shadows over his face vanishing.
Yet unfortunately for Kira that expression he was wearing didn't.
She knew...
She knew what he wanted.
"Scott, please" She said, her voice trembling, she took a step backwards.
Kira knew in her heart that the only way she could get out of this was to fight.
But she couldn't fight him.
Not Scott.
Not after everything they had been through.
"Why" Kira asked.
"Why!" Lydia asked.
"Because I want too" Scott said smiling darkly as he walked up to Kira and stepped into her personal space.
"Because it's fun" Stiles said, grinning broadly.
Kira knew there was no where to run, her instincts roared inside her to fight. But she couldn't...
Scott chuckled "How stupid. You know what you should be doing, what you're instincts are telling you to do but you won't, will you?"
Kira didn't answer.
"Everything is so much easier this way, when you don't have to care, to feel. For once I'm not losing, the one getting beaten up or feeling terrible about my friends getting hurt because of me and I've got to tell you it does feel great"
Kira looked into Scott's eyes, she flinched back at the pure darkness inside his eyes but... she stood her ground, she didn't back away. Not now, not ever again.
"Though there is another way you could get out of this situation little fox" Scott said, his hand reaching out and if it weren't for his expression she'd say he gently stroked her cheek as if brushing away tears.
Kira looked up at him, confused.
"Submit to me" Scott growled, his eyes flashing red.
It was so strange, with Scott acting like this. Even though he was an alpha werewolf everyone in the pack including her usually forgot this.
But it was so clear now...
"What? And become what? Just a puppet for you to command?"
Kira shook her head.
She was crying as she answered.
"I'd rather die"
Scott only smiled and pulled her closer to him. He then did something she did not expect at all.
He kissed her.
Kira couldn't help herself, a small part of her hoping even though she knew it wasn't possible.
She kissed him back.
One last kiss.
There was a pain in her chest, a casual smile from Scott. And the banshee screamed.
