They decided that the best option to confront Scott was in his house, so they called Derek up after school waited about twenty minutes before making their way to Scott's house, Derek with them, determination shining through them, apart from Kira who was a bundle of nerves.

They would save Scott, that was their mission.

They arrived at Scott's house, not hesitating Lydia walked up and knocked on the door.

It opened quite quickly to a surprised Melissa. To the packs surprise she didn't look relieved to see them or hurt at all. She just looked a little startled.

The group glanced at each other nervously, all knowing what this meant. Melissa didn't know. What could they say? What could they do?

Melissa opened her mouth to probably welcome them in but Derek interrupted her "Melissa, I think we need to tell you something about-"

"And what would that be Derek?"

The group stiffened as Scott almost appeared out of no where behind Melissa.

The challenge in his tone was clear, folding his arms but as soon as Melissa glanced at him Scott's frowned turned into a welcome smile and he relaxed.

"You didn't tell me they were coming over" Melissa told Scott though more like playful scolding.

"I didn't realise they were, they didn't tell me. Anything important guys?" He asked them calmly and cheerfully but there was a hard glint in his eyes.

"Nothing important, we'll just-" Kira said hesitantly, turning to leave but Lydia grabbed her, keeping her eyes on Scott.

"Nothing that important, we just wanted to talk to Scott about something" She said, her voice clipped.

Melissa looked confused but nodded anyway, stepping out of the way "Sure, come in"

The pack uncertainly walked inside, every now and again glancing at Scott, they headed to the living room, they stood though, not taking their usual seats, facing Scott.

"Could we talk to him alone, if you don't mind?" Derek asked Melissa.

"Oh, is this supernatural stuff? Yeah, go ahead, don't involve me" She said with a smile, waving her hands slightly, backing out of the room.

Melissa just called out as she walked upstairs, jokingly "Just don't destroy the house"

Scott called back playfully, sounding completely normal that it stumped the pack slightly "Yeah, I'll try not too"

Melissa laughed at that.

Once she was out of ear shot Scott put his hands in his pockets, turning to the pack.

"So? What do you want?" His tone calm  but nothing happy about it.

"We came to talk to you" Derek said stiffly, stepping forward.

Scott snorted "Just to talk?"

He plopped himself down on the couch lazily. Crossing his arms.

"This should be good" He said dryly.

Lydia spoke with determination as she said "You may think what you're doing in the right thing to do but it's not, whatever darkness inside you is controlling you, brain washing you"

Scott nodded as if he was listening but he leaned in slightly, putting his hands together.

He said sounding patronising "You think I'm being controlled? I assure you I'm still Scott" He smirked adding, his eyes flashing red "Just new and improved"

Derek growled "The Scott I knew would never be so weak to give in to darkness like this"

Scott suddenly stood up at that, glaring at Derek.

"What the hell do you know?! Maybe Derek, maybe I was just tired of putting everyone else first, maybe I was just tired of watching as the good guys always suffering and never getting anything from it. Maybe I was tired of losing" Scott snarled, baring his teeth slightly.

"We didn't lose" Derek said slowly.

Scott just gave him a bitter smile as he responded, his voice cracking slightly.

"Yeah, we did"
