"Well I think we better build a bird aviary?" Robert glanced at Abbey's flock, "they can all live in the bird room in separate cages," Abbey reassured him. "okay do what you want," he shrugged, annoyed his suggestion was gone just like that. She walked past him and started setting up the large parrot cages then the medium, the lovebirds had a old bird cage from the storage as it was actually bigger then the one they where given. She spend hours setting it all up, it was difficult with one arm but she manage. "Tomorrow is my first day of working as a birds of prey trainer, I can't wait," she explained to Opal who chilled on her shoulder as she put the last toy in her new macaws cage. "Bird lovers be like," she grinned. She glanced at Jax who danced on a near perch of the bird play area. "Come on, time to check out your new cage," she cheered, the bird stepped up with excitement. He had a lot of trust in her already. She placed the others in there cage already, Opal was last to go back. She closed the door of the room and looked for her family. Only Grey was in sight, she wagged her tail as she spotted her. "I know what your thinking, let's go for a walk then," she smiled and exited to the zoo. She hoped she was allowed to after that stupid guy basically tried to rape me," her eyes show flaming hate. She spotted her mother talking to a few visitors, "gotta love the fans," she thought and walked past them, saying nothing. People stared at her in interest. "Hey Abbey!" a few people greeted her as she walked past. She nodded and continued along to the birds of prey area. "Hey Tim," she smiled as she got into the room, she grabbed her glove out and opened Kora's cage, "hi pretty girl," she smiled, the eagle blinked at her. "Today you will be focusing on recall," Tim explained as they got out into the field. "Sure," she looked at the giant bird and grinned. "All you have to say is fly when you want her to go and perch come when you want her to return." He ordered simply, Abbey nodded and got to work, "your first show will be in a few weeks hopefully," he predicted. "I reckon I can manage this within a few days," she thought passionately. "Good for you," Tim handed her a bag of meat. He left her to work, she spend 2 hours working with the mighty bird. "I think we can call it a day," she thought and placed the bird back in it's cage. She called Grey from where she was laying bored outside of the building, she had little kids patting her and playing with her as if they knew who she was. "Your dogs so cute," they giggled, "yea she's great," she smirked and called her to her side. She left the kids behind and walked to the nursery, "I think I have my limit of pets maybe now, should I adopt them out or keep them?" She was thinking about the birds she had back at home, she still was meant to adopt the sugar gliders and snake. "Are you okay Abbey?" She was interrupted by Kira who noticed she was thinking with a worried expression. "Yea... well not really, i have a lot of animals that have been put in my care, its kind of stressful," she blurted. "You can put them up for adoption if you think its too hard," Kira suggested. "Maybe when they have been with me a bit i'll decide," she though nervously. Kira nodded and turned away, she followed her to the exotic animal hospital, she watched her from the window, dealing with a sick emperor penguin chick. "She hatched only a few days ago and shes not doing too well," she heard the voice of the vet nurse freak. "Excuse, you can't be here while surgery is on, sorry." She was shoved out of the room, "well Grey, lets get out of here," she sighed and walked out of the door. "There you are!" her mother approached her suddenly, "yay..." she shrugged and walked past her. "Hey, don't ignore me!" Bindi followed her home, "whats up?" she asked curiously. Abbey frowned, "i don't feel like part of the zoo," she explained. Bindi was silent for a second, "you are only young, don't stress too much, besides your still learning," she replied as if she was reading from a role script. "You had to think about what you wanted to say," she murmured frustrated. She disappeared into the bird room, "Grey, out!" she yelled as the dog followed her, she was angry. "I need to be alone," she cried, the dog left, tense and confused.

Abbey opened all the bird cages, sitting and watching with a straight face. Everyone did their own thing, some climbed onto the play area, some chilled in or on their cages. "Jax! Opal!" she called her Blue and Gold macaws to test them, "you like me Jax?" she smiled. She knew she would keep him, he was instantly social and friendly as she picked him up that day. "Your a good bird," she cheered. "Now Milo and Coco, how are you with me?" she asked them, not expecting a reply. She held a brazil nut out, starting with the small parrot, Milo the Sun conure. The bird jumped on her finger confidently, snatching the nut and flying away. "Okay..." she smirked, "cheeky little bugger, we will work on that," she encouraged herself. "Now cranky cocky, Coco are you gonna be friendly?" she thought, placing her arm in front of him, she received a nip quickly as she expected. It hurt like a bitch but didn't decrease her confidence. She tried again with a nut this time, to show it was a rewarding thing. The bird leaned forwards to try grab it without stepping up, "we will try again tomorrow."
