"Hey Abbey, i am interested in your cute little pair of lovebirds, where are you located?" Abbey read the message she had received on Gumtree. She grinned, they had no idea who she was. What was she meant to say, "come to Australia zoo!" her mind lashed with thought. She decided to just say that and see what happens. The person didn't reply after that, probably thought it was a joke. "Well if I cant get someone to take me serious i will have to surrender you to a rescue," she realised. She left it for a day to see if they reply."Hello, where about's are you?" the person messaged her again randomly during the night. "We will meet at the cheetah enclosure," she shrugged and sent the message.

The day crept closer, Abbey carried the cage all the way to the meeting place. She expected to be stood up but a person wondered over to her with money and a conure on his shoulder for good impression. "Hello, you must be the famous Abbey 'Irwin'." The guy murmured, "actually my name hasn't changed," she laughed. "Well i don't know your name so that's your name now," he handed the money to her, "they will be used for my breeding program," he explained to assure her. "Nice," she handed them to him, being thankful that they found a good home instead of being in the wrong hands at a pet store. "Thankyou so much," Abbey nodded and walked back with $150 in her pocket. She felt bad for getting rid of them when she could have looked after them but down sizing was a better option. "Now i have more room for the sugar gliders," she thought she'd buy a bigger cage for them since she was given a inappropriate cage. "They are gone?" Bindi asked, "yes, I wouldn't give them the life they need, they are better off being in a aviary where they can fly instead of being in a tiny cage." She replied and went back to her animal room, now it wasn't just birds. She had, had her python and sugar gliders for a few days. She had to leave 'kaa' her python for a week before trying to attempt feeding him, so she went to feed her others. "Salt and Pepper," she called to her sugar gliders who hid in their cage. She placed a piece of fruit in their food bowl, she grabbed the tamer one, Pepper screeched in aggression as his mate was taken away from him. "Your a sook," she grinned, the tiny albino marsupial curled up in her hand as she closed the door. "Shes so cute," Bindi complimented, Abbey grinned. "I seem to be increasing my animal family every week or so." She weirdly stated. "But you can handle it, your not an animal hoarder," she assured her. Abbey didn't reply, she just walked away as usual.  "A miss call from Grace?" she felt guilt, she never called her after being in Australia, "i have friends?" she shook her head. She pressed the call back button on FaceTime. She didn't answer, had she just lost her only chance of talking to her best friend again? she felt miserable. She decided to send her a message, 'Hey Grace, sorry i missed your call, and more importantly that i haven't really spoken to you since i was adopted. How have you been? Things have been great here, i've started my own animal family, Australia's sort of the same to New York, especially Sydney, here in Queensland it is very hot but i like it, hope we are still friends..." Her heart raced as she sent it. It took a few hours but she had finally read it, "i'll call you tomorrow," she replied with a grinning emoji. "Alright, looking forward to it," Abbey ended the conversation. "Mum, is there anything i can do for money, i'm thinking of starting an animal/vlog channel on YouTube." She yelled out from her room, "why don't you just wait a few weeks till your birthday and i'll buy you a excellent quality canon camera," she suggested, "fine, i'll use my shit phone for a while," she mumbled. "Excuse me?" Bindi hissed, letting her off slightly. She walking outside into the yard, she saw the giraffes in the distance, "was this really what i was born for? a zoo keeper." She wondered uneasily. "No, you where born to love animals the way you do, the way you want." She saw Robert approaching her, she must have spoken a bit too loud. "I want to be an animal YouTuber with a birds of prey job," she explained. "Interesting, so your not  zoo keeper but your an animal trainer," he pointed out. "Yes," she smiled and handed him her sugar glider. "Put him back for me?" she asked, "where are you going?" he asked, "for a walk, i'll be back." She exited the zoo, walking all the way into town, "Abbey, what can i do for you?" she was immediately attended to by owner, a man. "I'd like to have a look at your dogs," she asked curiously. "Sure, how is Grey by the way," Abbey pointed to the dog outside of the rescue. "Oh come in girl," he grabbed her leash and walked her inside. "Why didn't you bring her in?" The guy asked, "I haven't been here, besides, it's better off she didn't come in here, she has had a bad history with pounds so yea," she shrugged. "Are you here to adopt?" He asked curiously, "I don't really know, I love looking at animals that's all." She felt weird, being highly obsessed with them and constantly loving to be surrounded by them. "I'd adopt them all if I could, no soul deserves to be locked up in a cage for their whole life or a long period." She sadly looked at all the stressed out faces. "Is this a kill shelter?" She asked with concern, "sadly yes... we don't have enough room at the moment." Abbey stared at him in shock and grief.
