Tears came rolling down my cheeks as I just stared at her..

Then the door flew open.

"Hey dad. How is she doing?" A familiar voice called.

I turn around and see Kate.

"Hey pumpkin." I gave her a weak smile. " Uh, doctors said that the stroke she had, did other damage to her. I don't really know how but that's what they said."

"Okay. Well Thomas had to leave to go back because of his work.. Can we stay with you until she's okay?" She asked.

"Yes. Here catch." I threw my keys to her. " gps in my car can send you to our house."

"Okay. I love you dad." She came up and gave me a nice loving hug.

"I love you grandpa." Sarah said.

"Haha, I love you too little one." I smiled.

"Okay. Well Thomas had to leave to go back because of his job... Can we stay with you until she's okay?"

"Yes. Here catch." Keys suddenly came flying over to me." The GPS in my car will send you to our house. I'll be home later."

"Okay. I love you dad." I reached to give him a hug.

"I love you too pumpkin." He then looked down at Sarah, "I love you too little one."

We said goodbye and made our way to the front doors

"Kate?" The lady said.

"Yes?" I looked at her name tag." What do you need Riley."

"Well.. When your husband stormed out, he dropped your stuff off here." She pointed to the room behind her.

"Oh. Okay." I said.

She then went back into the room and grabbed all of it.

"Here you go." She smiled.

"Thank you. I'll see you tomorrow." I smiled.

She nodded and then right back to her work.

Once we reached the parking garage I clicked the button on the keys so I could find the car.

"Beep Beep."

I turn around the corner to find dads car.

My dad, has my dream car. That I never got to buy because of thomas.

A light blue Ford Mustang Convertable.

I get Sarah situated and through our things in the back.

I start up the car.

"Welcome back. Paul, Cynthia, or new driver?"

It talks..

I push the new driver button on the touch screen pad.

"Type in name."

So I type in my name.

"Welcome Kate. Where would you be heading?"

I click the home button.

"Paul and Cynthia's home."

I start to drive.

"Mommy, where's daddy.." She said staring out the window.

"He's not here right now. He's back home." I reply.
