Chapter Two~Souls Pass

~Phoenix's POV~

I'm sitting on the couch with Jack and notice that he had dyed his hair green. 

"So Alpha, have you decided which one of us will be going to search for the enchanted soul?" 

My eyes burn from staying up all night sitting by my lovely goddess. She still hasn't woken up yet and i'm getting worried. What if she never wakes up? What if it's my fault she doesn't want to wake up?

 "I will be searching for it, you will stay here with Mineran and make sure no one tries taking her. Understood?" 

"Yes Alpha. When will you be leaving? And if she wakes up while you're gone what should I do?"

 "I will be leaving later today, and if she wakes up try to mind-link with me, if you can't just tell her I have left in search of something." 

I get up from the couch and walk into my room, I see Mineran just laying there, my eyes get a bit watery. I try not to cry as I pass her and get my stuff together for my journey. A flashlight for when it gets dark, my phone, some water, a bit of food that won't go bad for a few days, and then a few pairs of clothes. I walk over to the bed and kiss Mineran lightly on the forehead. I leave the room quickly and head back to the living room. Jack is standing by the front door waiting on me.

 "I will take good care of Luna while you're gone. No one will harm her or get near her." 

"Thank you Jack, while i'm gone make sure the pack is well. Go to my meetings in my place." 

"Understood alpha, have a safe trip." 

Jack opens the door and I step outside. The sun hits my eyes and blinds me for a few seconds. I will not sleep until my goddess is awake, until she is well.

~Mineran's POV~

Lights flash by as I try jumping from the moon down to the ocean, but I always seem to land back on top of the moon, it's like i'm stuck here forever. The person in the water laughs at me every time I try jumping down to her, jumping to see who she is. I hear whispers from the souls that pass by me 'Wake up' 'He needs your love right now' ' He is leaving in search for someone else.' 'He looks for our Queen' 'Wake up and run to see him' I try waking up but I can't seem to leave this dream. I know it's a dream, but it feels so real, like i'm supposed to be here and stay put.

Sorry for the short chapter. I lost my train of thought so I ended the chapter short. I hope everyone likes this chapter. I will be starting on the next chapter shortly (Gotta eat first)
